THE PERSONNEL Jeff Demarest, a BIMI Missionary, is out of Crossroads Baptist Church in Carthage, Missouri (Pastor Bob Morgan). He has been involved in Scripture printing and distribution since his teen years. Serving on the African continent as missionaries since 1990, the Demarests have distributed five containers of Scripture and literature to missionaries, national pastors and churches in twelve different African countries. He believes this project is an opportunity to put the Word into the hands of people who will carry it back to closed countries. Verlis Collins has served the Lord for 35 years and has led hundreds of missions trips into Mexico over the past 25 years. He is a representative for Bearing Precious Seed of First Baptist Church in Milford, Ohio (Pastor William Duttry). He will be assisting Jeff Demarest in Durban and recruiting other groups as well. Allen Johnson grew up as a missionary kid in Brazil, historically one of the world’s greatest soccer nations. He has spent over a decade in full-time Christian service and is a missionary with Wings Bearing Precious Seed, a world-wide Scripture distribution ministry out of Swan Pond Baptist Church in Harriman, Tennessee (Pastor Gary Neal). He has taken mission trips to Brazil, Chile, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Honduras, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. He is helping coordinate the project and will assist a team in Johannesburg.
