If they are different, I feel uncomfortable because I like to comment about the music, clothes and food that punk people like.”

Answers: I1) Pablo said they had lived there for three years. Porque “have” se cambia siempre por “had” y se mantiene el participio del otro verbo. 2) Stephanie ordered me not to listen to a Word. Porque es una orden negative, entonces se coloca “not to” más el verbo que no cambia. 3) Miguel told me it was raining. Porque la oración está en presente, se cambia a pasado. (sólo el verbo que está en presente). 4) Esther asked me if Sarah had been to Sienna. Porque es una pregunta sin “wh”, entonces se coloca siempre “if” y en este caso había has, el cual se cambia por had, manteniendo el participio. No olvidar el orden: if-sujeto-verbo. 5) Luisa ordered Michael not to talk to strangers. Lo mismo que la 2. 6) Ernesto said he first had met his wife in Seville. La oración está en pasado, entonces se coloca “had” más el verbo en participio. 7) Héctor asked me if they could play the piano. Es otra pregunta sin “wh”, por lo que se coloca “if”. Tiene “can”, el que se cambia a “could” sin modificar el siguiente verbo. 8) Olivia ordered me to phone my granny. Es una orden afirmativa, solo se coloca “to” antes del verbo. 9) Sergio told me they would forgive Enzo. El auxiliary “will” se cambia por “would”, sin modificar al siguiente verbo. 10) Gabriel asked me why I was wrting that book. Es una preguinta con “wh”, se repite, pero como la oración estaba en presente, se cambia a pasado (sólo el verbo que estaba en presente).

IIIPara dar una opinión, siempre expresar primero si se está o no de acuerdo: I agree- I don’t agree (disagree) Luego colocar “because” y completar dando una razón por la cual estoy o no de acuerdo. Por ejemplo, de acuerdo al comentario dado, se puede decir: I agree because I don’t like different kinds of friends. I like talking about the same things. I disagree because I respect all my friends, I know they are different from me and I love them. Ojo, siempre después de “because”, debe ir un pronombre personal (I, you, she, he, etc.) nunca va un verbo solo. Hay que tratar de usar los verbos y palabras vistas en la unidad, recuerda que no se puede usar diccionario.
