CAMPING REGULATIONS: Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis. The Primitive Campgmund is locatedjust a short .5mile hike from the southern most parking area. Campsites with elecbic are located in the recreationfield. Pets are not permitted in the Primitive camp areas. All campers must register at the park ofice and be set up one hour prior to the park closing 6me posted at the front gate. The gate combinationwill be given to registeredguests only. This policy is for your protection. Please do not give the combinationto anyone not in your party. All campers must I dthe front gate upon entering or leaving the park after hours. Withlacoochee River Park is located on 610 acres of natural wilderness for you to enjoy with an abundance of wildlife to see. . . Bald Eagle, Swallow Tail Ha& Red Tail & Red Shoulder Hawk, Turkey, Great Blue Heron, Red & Gray Fox, Florida Panther, Bob Cat, Alligators, Gopher Tortoke, Black Bern, River Otter, Snakes Bob Cat, &Owls, Raccoons and Wild Hogs. -
