This type of worksheet helps estimate the size or number of wind generator(s) required for your system. 1. Total average amp hours per day from the System Loads Workform, line 10. NOTE: You can enter any portion of the total loads if you want to hybrid with solar and wind. 2. Multiply line 1 by 1.2 to compensate for loss from battery charge/discharge 3. Enter your system (battery) voltage (12, 24, 48 etc.) used in the Loads Workform 4. Mulitply line 3 times line 2 to get your average daily watts (Volts x Amps = Watts) 5. Divide line 4 by 1000 to get your average daily kWh (kilowatt-hours) 6. Multiply line 5 times 30 (days) to get your estimated monthly kWh 7. Enter the average monthly kWh for the wind speed and wind generator model selected 8. Divide line 6 by line 7 to see how many wind generators are needed (Line 6 รท line7
