YHVH's Chosen People Who Are They? by D. J. Love, Minister, TSN, SBC upgraded 10-20-2001 refined 3-31-2007

Hebrews 11:1-2,4,7-11,13 Now Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the proof of things not seen. 2 For by this, THE ELDERS (Prior To Messiah) obtained testimony. 4 By Faith, Abel offered to G-d a more excellent (personal and living) sacrifice than Cain . . . . 5 By Faith, Enoch was translated (removed or transported), so that he should not see physical death, and he was not found, because G-d translated (removed) him . . . . 7 By Faith, Noah, being warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, . . . . , and became Heir of the Righteousness which is according to Faith. 8 By Faith, Abraham, when he was "Called", "Obeyed" to go out to the place which he was to receive for an inheritance . . . . 9 By Faith, he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a land not his own, dwelling in tents, with Isaac and Jacob (Israel) the Heirs with him of the Same Promise. 10 For he looked for The City which has the foundations, whose builder and maker is G-d (The Kingdom of G-d on Earth will be 'That City.'). 11 By Faith, even Sarah herself received power to conceive, and she bore a child when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had

promised. 13 These all Died (physically) in Faith, not (Yet) having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar (as a predestination). . . .

Genesis 8:20 Noah built an Altar to Yahweh, (by Faith) Exodus 17:15 Moses built an Altar to Yahweh, (by Faith) Genesis 22:9 & 16 (9) They came to the place which G-d had told him of. Abraham built the Altar there (by Faith), and laid the wood in order, bound Isaac his Son, and laid him on the Altar, on the wood.(Abraham would have Sacrificed his Son, if Not stopped.)

(16) and said, "I have sworn by myself, says Yahweh, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your Son, Your Only Begotten Son (a precursor of The Messiah),

Note: There is a 'Direct Parallel' between Abraham and his Son (Isaac), and Yahweh and His "Appointed Firstborn" Human Son (Yahshua). However, neither Abraham nor Yahweh actually sacrificed

a son. In reality, Messiah Yahshua gave himself to be sacrificed of his own free will, and Isaac went on to sire Jacob (Israel).

James 2:21-24 21 Wasn't Abraham, our father, Justified by Works, in that he offered up Isaac his Son on the Altar? 22 You see that Faith worked with his works, and by works Faith was made Perfect (magnified by Righteousness); 23 and the scripture was fulfilled (magnified) which says, "Abraham believed G-d, and it was accounted to him as righteousness;" and he was called the friend of G-d.

Note: Yahweh saw His Own Image in Abraham; not an image based on legalism, but on obedience brought about by Abraham's heart felt love for Yahweh and Yahweh's Righteousness.

24 You see then that By Works (of True Love for G-d), a Man is Justified, and Not Only by Faith.

Note: Faith and Works of Faith cannot be separated, as one is an essential part of the other, just as they are both Acts of Love directed towards The Eternal first and our neighbor second.

* What Is Sacrifice? . . . What Is Faith? . . . What Is Keeping G-d's Commandments? . . . What Is Obedience? . . .

"They are All Acts of Righteous Love !" Therefore: There is No Difference between those who will be "Chosen" by God that are Justified by works of "Love" ( Died prior To Yahshua Messiah ), and those who will be "Chosen" by God who were (and are) Justified by Faith (In The Messiah). . . because "Works of Faith" (Acceptable unto G-d) has Always been "Acts of Righteous Love"!

John 14:21 21 Someone who has My Commandments, (in his heart, mind or Spirit) and keeps them, That Person is one Who Loves Me. The One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.

1 John 2:4 4 He who says, "I know him," and does Not Keep His Commandments (Vows of the Marriage Covenant), is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

* The Bottom Line: G-d Seeks Those Who Love Him With All

Of Their Heart And Soul., BUT . . . If You Say You "Love" YHWH, and You Do NOT continuously attempt to become "Like YHWH" in Righteousness by your intent to keep ... ALL . . . Of His Righteous Loving Commandments, then HE says You are a Liar! The Commandments of G-d are and have always been the Words of the Vow of a MARRIAGE COVENANT between the believer and G-D. If you break your Marriage Vow then you will be SEPARATED from G-D FOREVER ! If your LOVE for the Eternal is TRUE, then you will Live a Life of Obedience through Love by Faith. Those that Truly Love (or died Loving) G-d will become His Chosen Children (Righteous Images) !
