~High School Spring 2005- Red Raider Showcase President This was the first year we did a pops concert and I was the president of all the committee chair. I was in charge of overseeing the four chairs and their acts. Anyone and everyone asked me all the questions on what to do and when to do it. This was a 150 person concert. I spent extra time at school for this concert, sometimes till nine o’clock at night with homework still to do. I worked very hard for my choir and my dedication showed.

~High School Spring 2006- Red Raider Showcase V.P. This is a choir concert that my school puts on every year and I was the Vice President my senior year. For this concert I had to make sure that 150 people were ready to go onstage at their appointed time. I also helped with designing and putting up signs for advertisement and I designed a showcase for all the seniors who were graduating.

~High School Junior Year (2006)-Choral Council Representative I was one of four representatives in the choir council. As a representative, I had to show and explain all the ideas that the council came up with to the choir and sometimes the music boosters.

~High School Senior Year (2007)– Choir Council Financial Advisor As a financial advisor, Ryan and myself were in charge of all monetary projects. I took in the money for all of our fundraisers for one choir and Ryan did the other. We watched the yearly budget on an Excel spreadsheet that I made. We also were the ones to go out shopping for all of our projects.

~Sophomore Year in College (2008)- Resident Advisor As a resident advisor I am responsible for twenty seven residents. I mediate problems and report room problems to Residence Life. I assist and advise students with social, personal, and academic challenges. If I can’t help a student I refer them to a person that can help them within our campus. I plan an ongoing, social, and weekend program for every month and an Educational program once a semester. This helps to build community and entertain the residents so that they can make friends and learn a new trade.
