* The peasants, they are ignorant, backward and superstitious, they won’t make good workers and soldiers to make Russia great. All they want is a bit more land and fewer taxes, it seems like they hate the government. What would you do to deal with this problem if you were in Nicholas II’s position?

* The middle classes, you loath them, always plotting to create their beloved Duma (parliament) and using any chance to try to modernise Russia. Can’t they see that Russia doesn’t need modernising? What would you do to deal with this problem if you were in Nicholas II’s position?

* Enemy powers, the Germans, the Austrians, the Ottomans. You seem surrounded by enemies and you’ve tried hard to get ready to fight them but your army isn’t really quite up to scratch. What would you do to deal with this problem if you were in Nicholas II’s position?

* The workers, they aren’t like the peasants and you don’t know how to deal with them. They don’t seem to love the Czar like the peasants do, they have new ways, dangerous new ideas and are often striking or listening to dangerous revolutionaries. What would you do to deal with this problem if you were in Nicholas II’s position?
