What is Search and rescue ( SAR) ? SAR is the process of identifying the location of disaster victims, who may be Trapped or isolated. Bringing them Protection with proving medical assistance.

Keep attention in time of Search  Continuous process.  Proper identification.  Try to find out accurate victims’ location.  The victim may be Trapped or isolated

Keep attention in time of Rescue

 Protect of Rescuer and victims.  Provide timely and accurate First Aid.  Provide necessary medical assistance ASAP.

Aim of the SAR

The aim of the SAR is to ensure the survival.

Objectives of the SAR  Rescue awareness.  First Response.  Every family must know life saving techniques.  Improve local equipments and ideas.  Rescue team formation.

Types of Survey  Primary Survey  Detailed Survey  Specialized Survey

Stages of Rescue  Stage-1 : Emergency rescue  Stage-2 : Searching slightly damage buildings  Stage-3: Immediate rescue  Stage-4: Clean selected debris
