First Grade Agenda Reading:
Students will read and spell words with the “ar” sound. Students can identify words and phrases in stories that suggest feelings or appeal to the senses. We will focus on appropriate rate, reading with expression, accuracy, and fluency.
Math: *Math fact fluency with addition and subtraction within 20. Students will be able to depict fractions involving dividing circles and rectangles into two and four equal shares. We will use the words halves, fourths, and quarters.
