Wednesday Tea

Hello there, users and friends of DL-1! As we get ready to launch our new website, we have spent a lot of time thinking about how best to capture the amazing collaboration and cross-fertilization that happens in this space in a digital way. Open to the public from 12 to 6 Monday through Friday and available through key card access the rest of the time, DL-1 usually has at least one user at any time and even empty contains innumerable artifacts of collaboration past, present and future. How do we let people stumble upon these artifacts when different groups of students rarely meet physically in the space? How do we capture the digital artifacts that are created here? What social networking tools are most effective in serving our needs?

I hope that this blog becomes as place to work out some of these questions, highlight some of the awesome things that happen in the space that may slip under the radar and give some insight into the room when you may not be here. Look for our new website to launch soon, but if you have any questions about DL-1 or anything that goes on, feel free to leave a comment!
