FEW SECONDS ON THE SEC SEC FOOTBALL RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS • Alabama clinched the Western Division spot in the SEC Championship Game with a 24-15 win over LSU. The Crimson Tide will play Florida on Dec. 5 in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome for the SEC Championship (4 p.m. ET/CBS Sports). • Florida won its 19th consecutive game (dating back to 2008) with a 27-3 win over Vanderbilt. During that span, the Gators have allowed one touchdown or less eight times. • Ryan Mallett threw for 329 yards with TE D.J. Williams on the receiving end of 7 passes for 137 yards as Arkansas defeated South Carolina, 33-16. • Jonathan Crompton threw for 331 yards and five touchdowns in Tennessee’s 56-28 win over Memphis. • Georgia’s defense recorded its first shutout since Sept. 2006, defeating Tennessee Tech, 38-0. The Bulldogs allowed only 55 total offensive yards. • Chris Todd threw for four scores, including three to Darvin Adams in Auburn’s 63-31 win over Furman. • Kentucky used a balanced attack (234 rushing / 210 passing yards) in defeating Eastern Kentucky, 37-12. • Shay Hodge had seven catches for 169 yards and two scores as Ole Miss defeated Northern Arizona, 38-14.
