Digital Pencil can be used for any subject, and can assist students with organizing their thoughts, and furthering their learning. Teachers can take advantage of the tool by customizing their layouts for lessons. Whether it is for book readings, or studying the solar system, Digital Pencil can assist the teacher with a layout for the students. Digital Pencil gives the students an opportunity to use technology in the classroom. It can get them out of their usual pencil and paper routine, while effectively learning using computers. Students can be encouraged to further their research and dig deeper while using Digital Pencil. Name: Slideshare URL: https://www.slideshare.net/ Slideshare is a web 2.0 tool that takes PowerPoints to another level! It also makes your presentation public so you’re able to share it outside the classroom. Teachers can take advantage of this tool by using it to add more creativity and graphics to their presentations, and also allowing the presentations to be accessible for the students outside the classroom. Students can benefit for Slideshare by using it for their own presentations, and by being able to access presentations from class while at home to look over lessons.

Advantages:  Makes presentations accessible in/out of class.  Adds room for creativity. Name: Bubbl.us URL: https://bubbl.us/ Bubbl.us allows students to create mind maps/flow charts. It is a tool that can be used for organizing thoughts. Teachers can use bubbl.us to presents focus points of lessons. It could be used at the end of a lesson to go over key ideas that the students should have grasped. Students can use bubbl.us to help prepare for an essay, or to organize their thoughts from a lesson. It could also be useful when learning about food chains in science! Advantages:  Easy to use.  Can be used for essay preparation.  Can be used for multiple subjects.

Name: GoogleDocs URL: https://docs.google.com GoogleDocs allows multiple parties to collaborate on documents. It would typically be used for older students. Teachers can use GoogleDocs to collaborate with other teachers, as well as with students. The teacher could begin a GoogleDocs document and while in class, the students are able to share their thoughts from a book or notes from the lesson. Students could use GoogleDocs while taking notes. If a student had a question, he/she could ask the question and a peer could answer, or the teacher could answer.

Advantages:  Students able to communicate on one document.  Can be used for any subject.

Name: Prezi URL: https://prezi.com Prezi is a site that allows users to create presentations with movement, color, and other exciting, creative features. The presentations are customizable, and the site allows for easy navigation. Teachers can use Prezi to liven up their presentations. Students might expect a typical PowerPoint, but will be alert and excited about the Prezi presentation. Students will be excited to use this Web 2.0 tool because it gives them an opportunity to create a presentation that they can customize, and move around. Most students are used to Microsoft presentations, but will be excited to try something new.
