The Motion of air is known as the wind. Cold winds are heavy in nature & intend to come down in the lower surface of the atmosphere. Hot wind is lighter. So that warm wind intends to go up in the air.

As one part of the globe is
directly exposed to sun's rays & other part receives less exposure.
