Was Messiah a Sinner? By D. J. Love, Minister, TSN, SBC upgraded 12-5-2003 refined 3-22-2007

Warning: If your faith is not very strong in Messiah Y'Shua as your High Priest, Elder Brother, and Symbolic Sacrificial Lamb for sin, and if your faith is solidly founded in the traditional universal Roman deception, then you will neither be able to understand this message, nor will you ever be able to accept it. This message is Spiritually Revealed Truth, and is not contrary to Scripture. The Shamar Briyth Congregation does not take a stand on whether Y'Shua sinned or did not sin prior to his baptism by John the Baptizer and his receiving of the power of the Holy Spirit. We do take the stand that Y'Shua was considered by YHVH to be without sin (Perfected in Love) at the time of his sacrifice; even though he was not perfect all of his life (Hebrews 5:9).

Section One How Can A Baby Sin ? Babies Sin? . . . . but babies are innocent, how can they sin or do they sin?

Read "Baby Sin?" (click link)

Section Two The Assumptions Assumption One: That GOD is a Trinity with three separate attributes. First He is GOD "The Father," Second He is GOD "The Son," and Third He is GOD "The Holy Ghost." This is the most popular belief, but is most illogical and does not agree with even the Greek definitions of A Holy Spirit (Holy Pneuma) nor does it agree with the inequality that Scripture states exists between them. How can three attributes of the very same GOD (who claims to be only one GOD) be unequal? (One equals one, always has, always will) On the other hand, how can an immortal be mortal? Only a pagan mythological demigod can be both physical flesh and immortal at the same time, and this is pure myth. It is impossible to be both "Fully" God and "Fully" Man! See "Psychology of Salvation," and "AntiMessiah."

Hebrews 10:12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of YHVH (inequality);

Matthew 19:17 He (Y'Shua) said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, YHVH. But if you want to enter into life, Keep the Commandments."

It seems suspicious to me that the concept of the Trinity involves three distinct personages, and yet YHVH says (Isaiah 45:5-7), "I am YHVH, and there is no one else; other than me there is no GOD. I will gird you, though you have not known me; that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none besides me: I am YHVH, and there is no one else. I form the light (Righteous Spirit), and create darkness (Human Nature); I make peace, and create adversity. I am YHVH, who does all these things. See "Creation or Recreation," and "Did YHVH Create Evil?" The Holy Spirit has a vague role as a personage in this assumption, except to deliver Spiritual Power and Understanding.

Assumption Two: The Son of GOD did exist prior to creation, but as a separate diety, except that they were of ONE SPIRIT (pneuma or mentality); and Y'Shua (The Son of YHVH) chose (because he truly loves us) to become an immortal MAN (a demigod), not capable of sinning and therefore not running the risk of losing his chance to be reunited with YHVH and sitting on YHVH's right hand, as in Hebrews 10:12 (above). This assumption could explain some of the inequalities between GOD "The Father" and GOD "The Son"; again, however, The Holy Spirit has a vague role as a personage in this assumption, and this pagan demigod concept highly resembles the "Spirit of the Anti-Messiah." just the same as Assumption One does.

Assumption Three: The Son of GOD, Y'Shua, never existed as a separate deity prior to creation, but was predestined by YHVH (conceived and established by the WILL of YHVH's Pneuma or Spirit) from the foundations of the world (creation or re-creation) and formed by YHVH's Pneuma to play a major role in His "Plan Of Salvation" for mankind. Therefore, Y'Shua did Spiritually Exist prior to creation, but only in the "Sacred Pneuma of YHVH", which basically means He was predestined from the "Foundations of the World". This would, also, explain how YHVH could Spiritually love him prior to his physical birth. This would, also, explain how Y'Shua could Spiritually exist (not as a person, but as a Righteous Conception) prior to

physical birth, and how He could Spiritually be with YHVH (In YHVH's Mind), and in essence Spiritually be "As One" With YHVH as a pivotal player in The Logos (Plan of Salvation) of YHVH. The Messiah, being born purely Flesh and Blood (human and mortal) was capable of sin, and just like all of mankind, was in need of being perfected. This is actually a good thing, because it shows mankind that YHVH does not seek Perfection according to the "Letter of The Law", but rather He seeks perfection according to "The Intent of The Law". And The Law was always INTENDED to bring YHVH's future children (Chosen Few) into seeking Righteousness. Therefore, YHVH does not seek people who are already perfect or without error or without sin (no one is perfect in this way). However, YHVH does seek repentant sinners who are actively seeking perfection through obedience to (a Love for) His Commandments, Words, Precepts, Judgements, Statutes, and Ordinances. All of which were designed to teach LOVE by example.

Note: Even The Messiah had to be "Perfected." Thus The Messiah was neither GOD (YHVH) nor was he perfect. YHVH, the Creator, is perfect and always has been perfect. Thus Messiah is not GOD; but more than that, YHVH does not expect us to be perfect either. However, he does expect us to desire with all of our heart(s) to become perfect (or grow in perfection), just the same as The Messiah (by following The Messiah's Example).

Luke 2:40, 52 40 And the Child (Messiah Y'Shua) grew and became strong in Spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor) of GOD was upon Him. ... ............. 52 And Y'Shua (Messiah) increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with GOD and men.

Note: Y'Shua GREW in wisdom, strength, stature, etc., just like John the Baptist (Luke 1:80). This shows that Y'Shua was not born "perfect" but BECAME perfected just like ALL other righteous men of Israel (Y'Shua was the "Set Apart Anointed One").

Hebrews 1:4 4 having become so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Hebrews 5:8-9 8 though he was a Son, yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered. 9 And having been perfected, he became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey him (as he also obeys),

Hebrews 7:28 28 For the law appoints, as high priests, men who have weakness, but the word of the oath (covenant), which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.

Note: By now, it should be quite obvious that Messiah Y'Shua was not born perfect, but he submitted his personal will to the perfect will of YHVH. Therefore, he became perfected and thus became qualified to be the Messiah to The True Seed of Abraham and Spiritual Israel. Messiah Y'Shua was not perfect, but he became perfected; AND since GOD is perfect, and has no need to be perfected, then Messiah (Y'Shua or even the so called Christ) is obviously not GOD (who is perfect).

However, this assumption would explain why John The Baptizer was, also, born with the Holy Spirit, why Y'Shua needed Baptism unto Repentance, why his entire childhood and adolescence was completely left out of the Bible, why he needed the Holy Spirit, why his family felt scandalized and childhood neighbors questioned his authenticity, why Satan waited until after his Baptism and his receiving of YHVH's Holy Spirit to tempt him to sin (again?), and why Y'Shua said, "No one is good, but YHVH". It, also, explains the distinct role of Y'Shua and the Holy Spirit and how they can be separate and yet "AS ONE" with YHVH. Additionally, there is no way possible that this could ever be construed as the "Spirit Of The AntiMessiah," which is a belief that Y'Shua did not come in the flesh (1 John 4:3).

Section Three Supporting Scripture

Matthew 3:All In those days, John the Baptizer came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, 2 "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!" *3 For this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, make ready the way of the Lord (second in command), make his (Messiah's) paths straight." (good, upright and forthwith)

4....... 5....... 6 They were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to be baptized by him, he said to them, "You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bring forth fruit (Works of Love) worthy of repentance! 9 Don't think to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father,' for I tell you that YHVH is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10 Even now the axe lies at the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree (human being) that doesn't bring forth good fruit (Works of Love and Obedience to YHVH) is cut down, and cast into the fire (Gehenna Hell). 11 I indeed baptize you in water for repentance (not for the receiving of the Holy Spirit), but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He (MessiahY'Shua) shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire." *13 Then Y'Shua (Messiah) came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him (unto Repentance of Sin; in order to make His paths straight. John did not have the authority to baptize for any other purpose. So why would Y'Shua need baptism?).

Note: John the Baptizer had the Holy Spirit (Righteous Mentality of YHVH), even from the womb (Luke 1:13-15). This

does not mean he was greater than Y'Shua, but it does indicate that he had a different mission from YHVH, and that mission was to baptize people and Y'Shua unto repentance of sin (see Luke 3:21-23). Y'Shua was baptized along with a group of others and was not alone with John. The next question is, Did Messiah need to repent of sin OR was his baptism merely to provide the necessary understanding of Repentance as an integral part of his ministry and serve as an example to mankind? The message here is clear! As YHVH's example to mankind, it is obvious that no one can receive the Holy Spirit AND not repent of Sin. Sin is "Self," and "The Holy Spirit of Love" is selfless. Therefore, Messiah was baptized for our sakes, and not

his own! 14 But John (knowing YHVH's purpose for Y'Shua) would have hindered him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and you come to me?" (but Y'Shua knew that he could not baptize John at that time, because, Y'Shua, needed to demonstrate that Repentance for mankind must come before Grace and the receiving of The Holy Spirit)

15 But Y'Shua, answering, said to him, "Allow it for now, for this is the fitting way (proper order) for us to fulfill (make replete or abundant) all righteousness." Then he allowed him (John baptized him unto Repentance of sin, as an example to mankind). 16 Y'Shua, when he was baptized (by water unto Repentance), went up directly from the water (left the water): and behold, the heavens were opened (revealed) to Him. He saw the "Spirit of YHVH" (does not say "The Holy Spirit", but implies a VISION of an "Emissary" or "Angel" with "The Mind of YHVH") descending as (in the symbolic form of) a dove, and coming on (from the heavens to) him (reinforcing the understanding of Repentance before Grace or Favor).

17 Behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (This statement reinforces that Favor or Grace follows True Repentance).

Note: Repentance is not a state of being sinless, it is a state of hating sin or SELF-centeredness (Human Nature). However, repentant people are still not perfect. Repentant people SEEK perfection.

Luke 3:21-23 (see Matthew 3:13 above) 21 Now it happened, when all the people were baptized, that, Y'Shua also having been baptized, and praying (to YHVH), the sky was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a symbolic dove, on him, and a voice came out of the sky, saying "You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased." (Obvious Favor or Grace)

23 Y'Shua himself, when he began to teach, was about thirty years old, being the son of Joseph, the son of Heli,

Luke 4:13-14 13 When the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him for awhile. 14 Y'Shua returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.

Acts 19:1-7 It happened that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul, having passed through the upper country, came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples. 2 He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" They said to him, "No, we have never been told about a Holy Spirit." 3 He said, "Into what then were you baptized?" They said, "Into John's baptism." 4 Paul said, "John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the (example of the) one who would come after him, that is, on Y'Shua." 5 When they heard this, they were baptized into the name (reputation) of Y'Shua. 6 When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke with other languages, and prophesied. 7 They were about twelve men in all.

Matthew 4:1-11

(Here we see that it was after Y'Shua received the gift of the Holy Spirit, that Satan (source of Human Nature) tried to get him to sin. Why not before he had received Obvious Favor in the

eyes of YHVH? (Answer) It was Satan's ambition to discredit him before mankind and YHVH. Then Y'Shua was led up by the Spirit (according to the Will or Reasoning of YHVH) into the wilderness to be tempted (to sin) by the devil (Messiah's Human Nature). 2 When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was hungry afterward. 3 The tempter came and said to him, "If you are the Son of YHVH, command that these stones become bread" (This would be the sin of not putting YHVH's Will ahead of all others). 4 But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of YHVH (God's Will).'" 5 Then the devil took Him into the Holy City. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to Him, "If you are the Son of YHVH, throw yourself down, for it is written, 'He will give his angels charge concerning you.' And, 'On their hands they will bear you up, So that you don't dash your foot against a stone'" (This time Satan tried to get Y'Shua to fall for the sin of vanity or ego). 7 Y'Shua said to him, "Again, it is written, 'You shall not test the Lord, your God.'" 8 Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and shown him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory (a sin of personal greed and/or pride). 9 He said to him, "I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me." 10 Then Y'Shua said to him, "Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve'" (the "only" here, also, indicates that we should not worship Y'Shua, the first born son of YHVH either). 11 Then the devil (Human Nature) left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

Note: If you are beginning to think "Anti-Messiah" here, I must remind you that the "Spirit of the Anti-Messiah" and "The End Times" began when Y'Shua's Apostles were still alive.

Additionally, this ministry not only confesses that Y'Shua came in the flesh, but we insist that he was created 100% flesh since the day he was born from the physical seed of David.

1 John 2:18 Little children, these are "the end times", and as you heard that the Anti-Messiah is coming, even now (two millenniums ago) many AntiMessiahs have arisen. By this we know that it is "the end times."

Note: However, YHVH's word states that in "The Latter Days" He will reveal knowledge to those who seek Him. The "Latter Days" is a latter part of "The End Times."

1 John 4:3 and every spirit who does not confess that Y'Shua has come (Strong's #2064, erchomal, appeared or came into existence) in the flesh is not of YHVH, and this is the "Spirit of the Anti-Messiah", of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already (two millenniums ago)

Jeremiah 23:20 The anger of YHVH shall not return, until He has executed, and until He has performed the intents of His Heart: in the "Latter Days" you shall perfectly understand it (YHVH's Intents). (Jeremiah 30:24)

Daniel 12:4

But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the "Time of the End:" many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased.

Mark 6:1-4 He (Y'Shua) went out from there. He came into his own country, and his disciples followed Him. 2 When the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing Him were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things?" And, "What is the wisdom that is given to this man, that such mighty works come about by His hands? 3 Isn't this the carpenter, the son of Mary (Miryam), and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" They were offended (Strong's #G4624 & #G4625, felt scandalized) by Him. 4 Y'Shua said to them, "A prophet (Strong's #G4395, "Propheteuo", "A divine speaker", inspired by the Mind of YHVH) is not without honor, except in His own country, and among His own relatives, and in His own house."

Why would any divine speaker (especially Messiah Y'Shua) not receive respect or honor by His relatives, His neighbors from His hometown, and His brothers or sisters? Is it because they had known him prior to his baptism and prior to his receiving public "Favor" from YHVH. In other words, they believed that he was neither perfect nor the Son of YHVH, because they knew him, as a ordinary human being since his childhood. Therefore, they were embarassed by his presence. Additionally, is it even important that He be sinless prior to receiving the Holy Spirit (Righteous Mentality) of YHVH? I, personally, do not believe, that what happened to him or by him prior to his baptism of Repentance of Sin and the receiving of The Holy Spirit, is of any consequence. He was still "Set Apart" by YHVH, and his sacrifice for our sin was and is Holy and acceptable to YHVH, because it was an act of Righteousness. Therefore, it is not what we think that is important, but what YHVH deems important that

matters!

Matthew 19:17 He (Y'Shua) said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, YHVH. But if you want to enter into life, Keep the Commandments (of Love)."

Why would Y'Shua say, "No one is good, but YHVH" if he had been perfect all of his existence? If Y'Shua had been perfectly good up to that point, then he just told a lie; and if he wasn't perfectly good up to that point, then he truthfully admitted that he wasn't good. Even if he was making the general comment that external to YHVH there is no perfect good; even so, he would have to be part of that consideration. Of course, he is not YHVH!

Proverbs 21:1-3 The king's heart is in YHVH's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. 2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But YHVH weighs the hearts. 3 To do Righteousness and Justice is more acceptable to YHVH than Sacrifice.

Romans 12:1 Therefore I beg you, brothers, by the mercies of YHVH, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable to YHVH, which is your spiritual service.

1 Peter 2:21 For to this were you called, because Y'Shua also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps, 22 who did not sin (according to "The Intent of The Law"), "neither was deceit found in his mouth."

Does this mean he was always sinless, sinless since Baptism or sinless since reaching the "Age of Accountability?"; and therefore, sinless of his own sin, but became Sin because he took our sins on himself?

2 Corinthians 5:21 For him, who knew no sin, he was made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the Righteousness of YHVH.

Isaiah 7:14-16 (a prophecy concerning Y'Shua? See Note below ) 14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, when He knows to refuse the evil, and choose the good. 16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land whose two kings you abhor shall be forsaken.

Note: Actually the Isaiah 7 prophecy is not about the Messiah, but about King Ahaz and his son; but because so many believe it is, I have included it here, because it basically applies to all babies and those prior to The Age of Accountability.

Note: Do you honestly believe that a child, that doesn't know to refuse evil, can avoid sinning for even one day? How about

four or five years? What about the age of accountability? Is it a physical age or a mental (Spiritual) age?

Hebrews 4:14 Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Y'Shua, the Son of YHVH, let us hold tightly to our confession. 15 For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin (according to "The Intent of The Law").

Hebrews 5:1-10 For every high priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to YHVH, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2 The high priest can deal gently with those who are ignorant and going astray, because he himself is also surrounded with weakness. 3 Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself. 4 No man takes this honor on himself, but he is called by YHVH, just like Aaron was. 5 So also Y'Shua didn't glorify himself to be made a high priest, but He who said to him, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father." (Whoa, Prior to this day he was not his Father?) 6 As He says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, After the order of Melchizedek." 7 Who in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear, 8 though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 and having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation, 10 named by YHVH a high priest after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:23-28 23 Many, indeed, have been made priests, because they are hindered from continuing by death. 24 But he, because he lives forever, has his priesthood unchangeable. 25 Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to YHVH through him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them. 26 For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 who doesn't need, like those high priests, to daily offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For this he did once for all, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law appoints men high priests, having infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was after the law, appoints a Son, perfected forevermore.

Hebrews 9:28 28 so Y'Shua also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.

1 Timothy 1:15-17 15 This saying is faithful, and worthy of all acceptance, that Y'Shua came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16 However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me as chief, Y'Shua might display all His patience, as an example to those who were going to believe in him to eternal life. 17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to YHVH who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

James 2:17 17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

The Conclusions are yours to make.

John 4:23-24 23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers. 24 YHVH is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
