GUITAR LESSONS AGREEMENT About ME I’m married to Briana and have three wonderful children: Olivia, Jack, and Josiah. I am the
associate pastor at Kingsway Community Church in San Jose (the church where I grew up). My main responsibilities at Kingsway are leading the music team on Sunday mornings, leading the College & Career homegroup, and overseeing the Children’s Ministry. I have been playing guitar for more than 15 years and have an appreciation for a wide range of musical styles and genres. I have also studied piano and have an adequate understanding of musical theory - some of which I incorporate into my lessons. I have taught students ranging in age from 10 years old to over 30 years old.
Lessons Overview Lessons are once a week and last approximately 30 minutes. Each lesson will include time for reviewing previous lessons, time to learn new materials/skills, and time to jam! The best way to learn a new instrument is to practice EVERY DAY! It is much more effective to practice for 15-20 min. each day than to cram in a 2-hour practice the day before the lesson! Therefore, the lessons will primarily focus on teaching and equipping the student to effectively practice on his/her own during the rest of the week.
PaymenT $120 is due at the first lesson of each month. The following payment options are available: • Cash • Check: make out to Andrew Isaacs • Paypal: send to [email protected]
* The monthly rate is the same for months which contain 4 or 5 lessons.
Cancellation PolICY If a lesson is canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time, a make-up lesson can be scheduled. If the student does not show up for the lesson or does not call to cancel at least 2 hours before the start time, the lesson is forfeited.
