Community Volunteers Needed We all have one common interest in our community – to make it a great place to live.

Definition of “COMMUNITY” - A unified body of individuals such as: a) the people with common interests living together in a particular area; b) a group linked by a common policy; c) joint ownership or participation; d) social activity: Fellowship. Synonym for Community: Neighborhood We have compiled a list of small volunteer items that the community can use your help with. Most of these are a simple, one-time thing, but your participation speaks volumes in keeping our community that great place to live. That handful of people doing these jobs are getting burned out - it's time to spread the wealth with other community members stepping up to help. For some of these things, without volunteers we would need to pay to have them done, which impacts you with increased HOA fees. So these are just a few ways you can be involved and help.

DESCRIPTION help with cleanup/fixup of utility islands around community bring pool furniture up to pool side and arrange bring pool furnitue down to restroom storage areas hose off deck and tables on upper deck to get ready for season remove wind screens, fold and store in restroom storage area for Remove windscreens October winter Window washing spring/fall wash clubhouse windows Book Nook all year rotate/organize books in Book Nook need 1 more volunteer to help out with planting the spring flowers Planting spring flowers spring at front sign and clubhouse/pool need 2 more people to help out with watering of community flowers by front sign and poolside (more help means less work for Water spring flowers summer each person) need 1 volunteer to help out with pullling out summer plants and Planting fall flowers mid Sept. planting fall mums by front sign hang fall lights on Wedgewood sign the first of October and remove Fall lights on Wedgwood sign Oct. 1st Nov. 30th Holiday lights on Wedgewood hang holiday lights on Wedgewood sign the first of December and sign Dec. 1st remove early January Set up holiday decorations in hang wreaths on doors and set up a few holiday decorations in Clubhouse Dec. 1st clubhouse Holiday Party Set Up Dec ? carry tables & chairs upstairs to set up for holiday party We have a chairman (Tina Robertson) but she will need some Potluck Dinner October volunteers We have 3 volunteers for this year, but need new people to take Holiday Party Set Up Dec. over in upcoming years. We need to bring this summer event back poolside this year. We Summer Picnic by the Pool August need a chairman and 3 assistants. 1 week per with 134 units here - if you could volunteer, we would only need 52 Clubhouse Monitors year volunteers for the year! Billards Night at the winter set up a couple nights during the winter months to play pool at the Clubhouse months clubhouse & set up for announcement to go out We need more people to play Pickelball during the summer months.
