Microsave Conducts Rapid Institutional Assessment for Samridhi The leading consulting agency in the sector, Microsave conducted its Rapid Institutional Assessment that is conducted by them to select their prospective partners for AAFI (ABN AMRO Foundation India). Under this project, Microsave helps in capacity building work with MFIs (MFIs) in Northern and North Eastern India. The Assessment that was held during the first week of January went on for 2 days, which included a visit to the field by
the Microsave Team to observe the field operations. They also interacted extensively with the management. The outcome of the assessment was positive and Samridhi has been recommended for this year’s AAFI programme.
Samridhi talks Microfinance at IIM Lucknow Team Samridhi delivered a guest lecture in the prestigious IIM at its Lucknow Campus. The discussion was attended by the current outgoing batch and focused on the BOP Markets. The discussions also highlighted the different aspects of Microfinance in India and how rural marketing can be merged with Microfinance. The lecture was coordinated by Professor Rajesh Aithal, who teaches Rural Marketing and Business Ethics at the institute and is as soon the board of Samridhi.

First Internal Audit Conducted Samridhi conducted its first Internal Audit in the month of January. The audited which is significant considering the operations began only four months back. The findings will help the company improve its operations. The audit which spanned over 3 days covered all the field processes along with the documentation. Keeping in mind the strong emphasis that the company lays on its Human Resources, a HR Assessment was also documented that talked about the findings related to aspects which are normally not quantified or covered in a normal audit.
Launch of IT Dash Board Building on the success of the recently launched HRMS Software, the IT team has come out with the launch of an IT Dashboard. The dashboard will not only simplify the complex data by giving out pictorial snap shots, but also help the management take well thought out decisions and save on useful time.
