VISITOR VISA DOCUMENTS/FORMS TO BE SUBMMITTED • Two yellow forms for a visit up to 3 months, or • Two white forms for a visit for more than 3 months. • The forms must be completely filled in and signed by the applicant. A photograph has to be attached to each form. • An invitation/sponsorship letter attested by the competent foreigners' office in the Federal Republic of Germany (1 original and one photocopy) • Your passport with a validity of at least 3 months longer than the period of intended stay in Germany. • Valid flight tickets with confirmed return bookings back to India or to another country. • Valid overseas medical insurance covering the total stay in Germany. • Certificate of current employment in India. The following documents must accompany the application form: For Tourist Visa: Evidence of sufficient financial funds to finance your stay in the Federal Republic of Germany, hotel bookings, itinerary, certificate of current employment in India During their stay in the Federal Republic of Germany visitors are not permitted to engage in any kind of gainful activities, such as employment or paid work. While staying in the Federal Republic of Germany the visa cannot be extended.
