LAGER Lagers and ales are the two families of beers. The German word Lager means, "to store," and for up to three months these beers are cold-stored, settling them out, and granting a distinctly clean and balanced palate. Lager yeast works at the bottom of fermentation vessels and at cold temperatures (41º- 48º F).
PILSNER Pilsners are very clean in taste with a mild malt body. Light straw to deep golden in color, pilsners usually have a floral hop aroma and a dry, finishing bite. LAMBIC Lambics are the most unique beers. They are spontaneously fermented with airborne wild yeast native to the Senne Valley in Belgium.
