Video Project In a small group of two or three people you will create a five to seven minute video that explains in detail the topic you select. The possible topics are listed below. No topic can be covered by more than one group. The topic selection will be on a first come first served basis. Topics selection will begin at eight o’clock on Thursday December 11th. Your video must: 1. Show highly original understanding of topic, including, accurate and rational understanding of factual evidence, 2. A clear organizational plan that highlights the topic, 3. Show exceptional in-depth knowledge and understanding of all key concepts associated with the topic. 4. Provide wide-ranging evidence and examples that support ideas and concepts. 5. Display exceptionally precise and well-crafted writing, 6. Display exceptionally precise visual work that is exceptionally well crafted, original and multi-layered. 7. Strong control of spelling, and exceptional control of grammar and punctuation, 8. Skillful use a wide variety of sources. 9. Sources must support the project’s central idea 10. You must submit a separate work citation page that includes correct use of citations and bibliographic form
The objective is to show deep understanding and to display this understanding in a manner that viewers can easily retain. What you should do: Meet the objective and have fun doing so. What you should not do: Fail to meet the objectives or make light of serious issues. Your video needs to be uploaded to Google videos or You-tube before 10:00 p.m. on January 19th 2009. Once the video is uploaded, the link to the video must be e-mailed to
[email protected] (the receipt of the e-mail will serve as the time stamp for when the assignment was completed).
