Victorian Period

The Victorian Era took place in the United Kingdom this was the period of the rule of Queen Victoria and she ruled from June 1837 to January 1901. She rule for 64 years and completed the 19th century and began the 20thcentury. This era was followed by the Georgian period. The late half of the Victorian Era had no chance of surviving. The Victorian Era is often described as a long period of peace, known as the Pax Britannica, this peace was disrupted by the Crimean War, although Britain was at war every year during this period. The unsolved problems like Irish Home Rule were a significant part in politics in the late Victorian era.
