Veterans Fair Flyer

FL-13 Veterans’ Appreciation Fair Congressman Vern Buchanan invites you to attend a Veterans Appreciation Fair for veterans and military men and women in Florida’s 13th District. Veterans will be recognized for the important role they’ve played in protecting the freedom we enjoy today. We’ll also educate veterans regarding available resources and work with them to ensure they receive the health care and benefits they have earned. Veterans should bring their DD214 and a photo I.D. to the event. •

VA will provide health screenings and information about its many programs.

Veterans Service Organizations will assist veterans and their families apply for benefits.

•

Jobs Etc. will provide information about employment programs for veterans.

•

The Small Business Administration will provide information about small business programs for veterans.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 18 at the Sarasota Military Academy, 801 North Orange Avenue in Sarasota. Congressman Buchanan and Bay Pines VA Health Care Director Wallace Hopkins will participate in an opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m. WHO:
