Scout Meeting Schedule: Event #58 Venturer (Teacher)
OBJECTIVE: Conservation Laws and Organization •
Become aware of major conservation organizations and institutions in Canada and in the world. On a map show and learn about the major nature reserves in Canada, and why they have been created. Know where to obtain information on federal and provincial conservation laws.
LEADERS PURPOSE:. •
To make the Venturers aware of conservation issues outside their surroundings.
•
Take the Venturers on a night walk after covering the above information.
•
Serve hot chocolate on return (Christmas treats.)
BADGE REQUIREMENTS: •
The World Conservation Award - [P29 (4)]
