Sub- Medical reimbursement cases for finance concurrence. The cases for medical reimbursement cases for the treatment taken in different Govt/Pvt. hospitals of Railway employees are forwarded to this office for finance concurrence. Some cases were returned to your office for specific recommendation of CMD , but the same are resubmitted with the signature of CHD only. It is to state in this connection that as per Bd,s letter no. 2000/H/6-4/Policy dt. 6.03.03para 2 the cases require sanction of G.M. should be scrutinized by CMD. Moreover as per Medical SOP para 26 & 27 –b , scrutiny of CMD is must. If there is any further delegation available from CMD to CHD , the same may please be communicated to this office. However cases of medical reimbursement as per enclosed list / are returned herewith for scrutinization at appropriate level

Dy FA&CAO/Fin D.A.-1 List & CASES OF REIMBURSEMENT.

To , CMS/ALD Sub:- Treatment of my wife Smt. Pratima Verma. R/Sir, It is humbly requested that myself V.K. Verma working as A.A. in Sr. DFM office, NCR/ALD. My wife Smt. Pratima Verma is suffering with severe heart disease. She was admitted to Rly hospital Allahabad. She was referred to SRN Hospital on 27.01.07 at 22.15 hrs for further treatment in view of her serious condition. While in way to SRN , she became very serious and keeping in view the availability of specialist Doctors & facilities for such a serious patient at late hours as experienced in past in other such cases ,it was not deemed fit to go SRN , specially in view that two shocks were already given to my wife before referral. In order to save her life & keeping in view the availability of Doctor & facilities it was decided to go to Saraswati Hospital/ALD , where she was admitted & treatment started under the supervision of Dr. D.K. Agrawal. It is also worth to mention here that Dr.Agrawal is also attached with Rly Hospital as a visiting specialist. Patient was discharged on 11.02.07. Hence in view of the above facts kindly arrange for the reimbursement of medical expenditure incurred on the treatment of my wife, taken in emergency being the life threatening disease.
