GETTING THE CREDENTIALS YOU NEED Preparing you for a great job is the number one goal of UTI’s Collision Repair & Refinish Technology program. UTI’s strategic relationships with several major organizations give you the opportunity to graduate with advanced training and real-world experience. You’ll also be able to earn the technical credentials you’ll need to get hired by most collision repair shops, including: > I-CAR Gold Class Points - 24 points > I-CAR Welding Qualification - Steel > I-CAR Welding Qualification - Aluminum > DuPont Refinishing Credential > 50 I-CAR Enhanced Delivery CDs > EPA 609 A/C Certification

UTI’s CRRT program in Houston is ASE/ NATEF Master Certified, and that means employers can be confident that you’ve been trained in the skills they need by a program they can trust. Tasks developed by ASE serve as the basis for lab projects throughout your training. The program is divided into five modules that cover all facets of collision repair and refinishing. By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready for ASE certification testing in all five of these areas: > Structural Repair > Non-structural Repair > Refinishing > Mechanical and Electrical Repair > Estimating and Damage Analysis

MODERN FACILITIES UTI’s CRRT program is available at two great campuses. Both locations provide a fully-equipped professional environment with modern facilities and equipment. Whichever campus you choose, you’ll get hands-on experience on the kinds of cars and light trucks that you’d see working for a dealership or independent collision center. Houston UTI’s Houston campus features a newly expanded, 65,000 square-foot training facility. The campus is located 20 miles from busy downtown Houston, close to numerous theme parks and major-league sports arenas, and less than an hour from the sunny beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Sacramento UTI’s newest campus in Sacramento features a $10 million, 60,000 square-foot training facility. Entertainment and recreational opportunities are abundant throughout beautiful northern California, where you can golf, bike, hike, boat or take a day trip to the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe.

If you choose to enroll in the Toyota Professional Collision Technician elective, offered at the Houston campus, you’ll expand your education with specialized training for Toyota and Lexus products. You’ll also earn a Toyota factory-certified technician designation.

As a graduate, you’ll receive I-CAR Gold Class Points, which are recognized industry-wide and required by most repair shops before they’ll even consider someone for a job. You also have the opportunity to earn the I-CAR Welding Qualifications for both steel and aluminum.
