Using The Occ

The OCC is a useful tool to swap ideas, download resources, share your views and to keep up to date with the latest IB PYP philosophy and practice

Activities Beginner 1.Create your profile. 2.Navigate the site in open-ended inquiry. 3.Discuss with a partner one aspect of PYP which you have a keen interest in. 4.Using the forums find a forum on the subject you have chosen 5.Download an IBO document which is very relevant to your subject or grade level 6.Download a resource from another PYP teacher which is relevant to you.

More Experienced Use this period for free inquiry time to find information for your personal stage of development in PYP. Maybe join a forum, search for resources or read the latest information posted by the IBO

Summative Assessment I couldn’t even log on or access the occ

I found it easy to log on and access the occ, I even created my own profile and home page with ease

I could not find my way into the forum

I accessed a forum which I was really interested in and participated in it successfully

I could not find any PYP documents

I found just the PYP document I was searching for

I could not find any resources which I could download

I found specific documents I was searching for and downloaded them with success

The OCC sucks!

I love the OCC and want to marry it and have babies with it
