King use persuasive writting in his letter of “Birmingham Jail” with his audience to help him to promote freedom and rights for all Americans he wants to defend the strategy of nonviolent resistance to racism or freedom. He makes his audience that are a powerful part of the issue and that they can make a difference. In genetics of justice Alvarez use persuasive writting to communicate her purpose to inform hardship faced by those in the Dominican Republic and persuade her audiece to speak up for justice and rights. In the /;////1speech of Malala Yousafzai “ our books and pens are the most powerful weapon she establish her audience how every child have the right of education her purpose is to communicate her audience that they need to advocate for education to persuade her audience to take action. Martin Luther King use rhetoric to advance his purpose he appeals pathos when he talks about humans laws, he appeals to Ethos whe he talks about religion and how is important in his life, he uses logos to talks about the non-violent campaign. Alvarez also uses rhetoric to advance her purpose she appeals to pathos whe she tells her audience how her mother was feeling during the dictatorship of trujillo. She uses credibility when she uses historical scenes of her mother experience and she says that during the dictatorship of Trujillo her parents were afraid to talk with her what was happening and to talk about him. Malala Yousafzai use rhetoric at the beginning of her speech whe she begins showing gratitude with her audience and saying how she appreciates them. Malala uses credibility when she starts to name everyone that has help her like the honorable UN secretary, president vuk jeremic and the Global education.

King’s purpose for the letter of Birmingham Jail was to defend the startegy of non-violent resistance to racism or freedom. Throughout his speech he uses rhetoric to advance his main purpose he first show his audience credibility bu saying “ in Spite of my shattered dreams of the past, i came to Birmigham with hope that the white religious leardership would see justice of our cause” King want his audience to understand that he doesn’t have hate for white people she just wants to make everyone understand that he has hope that they can make a change. He also talks about the non-violent campaing he states” there are four basic steps collection, negotiation, self purification and direct action” King shows his audience how to act without being violent that you don’t have to be violent to obtain what you want when your are pacific thinking what you are doing things have a better result. King’s shows in his letter hope for racial equality and a bright future, he uses rhetoric succesfully because in his entire speech he talks sincerely to his audience which make his letter trustworthy and also by showing respect for white people they way he wants white people to respect the Negro community. King had great success in helping to end sergregation.

Alvarez purpose by writting Genetics of Justice is to inform hardship faced by those in the Dominican Republic and persuade her audience to speak up. Alvarez talks about her mother experience to show credibility that Trujillo was an evil man who took part on corrupt actions that negatively affected people demanding tributes when she says” The most humiliating of these tributes was the occasional parade in which women were made to march and turn their head

acknowledging the great men as they passed the review stand”. She also communicates her audience how she was feeling about the situation her parents have been through She states” As their lives, my parents along with the nation of Dominican Republic they learned habits of terror she shows
