Chapter 13 Conflict
When examining the famous Jobs vs. Sculley case of workplace conflict and how it progressed and ended, we find that it went through five phases. Using this model, describe each phase and apply it to a situation that has happened in your workplace. The dual concern model of conflict resolution has four parts. Name and describe the parts and then apply it to a situation that has happened in your personal life. Now that we know what conflict is, what the sources of conflict are, how it escalates, and how to manage conflict, can we say that conflict is an unavoidable evil or a necessary good?
