Academic and Athletic Achievement Award - 2009 Fall An Undergraduate student full course load is 15 credit hours in Fall or Winter Semester, or 12 credit hours in Spring/Summer; an Undergraduate student is considered full-time if registered in 9 credit hours or more or if registered in a Co-operative Education Work Term or an Engineering Internship (ENGG 071-074). In general, Certificate programs range from 15 to 72 credit hours and Diploma programs are 60. Most Bachelor's programs are at least 120 Credit Hours. A Graduate student full course load and full-time status may be achieved by: (a) registration in 6 credit hours or more in a semester; (b) registration in Psychology internship classes (PSYC 876-879, PSYC 880AA, PSYC 880AB); (c) registration in GSPP internship (GSPP 850); (d) registration in GRST 995AA for post program for students who have completed course and other program credit hour requirements, but have not finished writing or defending the thesis/project/practicum; (e) registration in GRST 996AA, for students who have received approval for an extension; (f) registration in the last requirements of a graduate program (e.g. just have one course remaining) and who will otherwise be engaged in thesis research/writing. These students register in the required credit hours, but registration must be for a minimum of 3 credit hours. Master's Certificate programs are 9 credit hours; Master's programs are 30 or more (2 to 6 years) and Doctoral programs are 60 or more (4 to 6 years).
