CONDUCT No food or drink is allowed in the Computer Lab. When using the Internet at the Library, YOU MAY NOT: • Load personal software on the computers. • Use the Internet for any illegal activity. • Invade someone’s personal privacy. Misuse of the computer or Internet access will result in loss of your computer privileges.
Media Room Computer Lab Policies USERS All users need their Loronado Public Library card along with a photo ID to access the computers. You must be 12 years or older, or be accompanied by an adult, to use the Computer Lab. There are computers for those under 12 years in the Children’s Reading Room. TIME LIMITS and RESERVATIONS Computers are available on a first come, first served basis. You are limited to 60 minutes per day. We do not take reservations.
SAVING/DOWNLOADING If you wish to save files, bring your own disk, formatted for an IBM PC compatible. You can purchase a disk for $1 at the library. WARNING: FILES DOWNLOADED FROM THE INTERNET MAY CONTAIN A VIRUS. YOU NEED TO HAVE VIRUS CHECKING SOFTWARE LOADED ON YOUR COMPUTER TO AVOID A VIRUS. PRINTING Printing is 15 cents per page with a copy card. Please pick up printing at the Media Room front desk.
