Two Pakistani soldiers killed in Kashmir Report : zafar iqbal Muzaffarabad: June 26, 2009 Two Pakistani soldiers have been died and three were injured in a suicide bombe attack near an army vehicle here on Thursday, eye witnesses say. A young suicide bomber bowled himself near an army jeep early morning in Shoukat Line locality of the capital city. The incident occurred in front of accommodation of army soldiers. Nobody has claimed the responsibility of the attack till filing of this report. It is first kind of suicide bomb attack against security forces in Pakistan controlled Kashmir. In recently months a large number of soldiers, security personal and civilians have been killed in different parts of Pakistan where its forces are engaged a fight against Taliban militants in Northern part of the country. Meanwhile, in southern Kotli district of Pakistani Kashmir, Taliban have warned owners of cable, Cd operators and beauty parlors to close down their business in one month, otherwise, they would be attacked. According to local journalist Maqsood Ahmad , pamphlets have been distributed in local city center of Kotli by unknown people who claim that beauty businesses and Cable TV were un-Islamic, therefore, locals must stop such business and use of these products. The pamphlet also warned women to stop shopping in the local markets as ‘it is against the teaching of Islam,’ local residents confirmed. (Feedback at : [email protected])
