EAP Work/Life Services THINGS TO DO JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING http://www.jacksonholewy.net/attractions/jh_area_hot_springs.php

Mother Nature, with all of her natural wonders, is never short of pleasing surprises. Natural hot springs, the natural spa, is a heavenly experience in the great outdoors. Yellowstone National Park is the most diverse in thermal activity, renowned for the world's largest and most spectacular display of geysers, hot springs, and stem vents. Some 200 to 250 geysers spout off each year, a greater concentration of geysers than anywhere else in the world. The park also has thousands of hot springs and steam vents.

EAP Work/Life Services The Hot Springs State Park bison herd is the central herd for the Wyoming State Parks. During the late fall and winter months, the park bison are fed a daily supplement to insure good health. This feeding usually occurs at 8:30 a.m., giving the off-season visitor the unique opportunity to view the "Monarch of the Plains," up close. Please remember that bison should be viewed ONLY while you remain in your vehicle. The suspension foot bridge across the Bighorn River is commonly called "The Swinging Bridge." The bridge offers a unique vantage point from which to view the Bighorn River and mineral terrace. Hot Springs State Park has long been known for its beautiful summer flower gardens. Make a point of bringing your camera with you, and capture the exciting splash of color all summer long. There are three large group picnic shelters in the park available by reservation. These are very popular and heavily used. Contact park headquarters as soon as you can to reserve a shelter for your event, and also inquire if your group needs a park liquor permit

GRAND TETON, WYOMING http://www.nps.gov/grte/ Grand Teton National Park offers many opportunities for children. Young Naturalist programs are offered daily during the summer. There are many online resources for learning about Grand Teton National Park and the National Park Service. If you are writing a school report, or just want to learn more about your parks, visit our educational resources Webpage.
