travel agency: a company that arranges travel and/or accommodation for people going on a holiday/vacation or journey. tour operator: a company that makes arrangements for travel and places to stay, often selling these together as package holidays. package tour: a holiday/vacation that is organized by a company at a fixed price and that includes the cost of travel, hotels, etc. all-inclusive: including everything, there are not hidden costs. embark: to get onto a ship; to put something onto a ship get off (a plane/ship): to leave a place, usually in order to start a journey disembark: to leave a vehicle, especially a ship or an aircraft, at the end of a journey; to let or make people leave a vehicle get on (a plane/ship) check-in: the place where you go to at an airport to leave your suitcases, etc. and show your ticket check in: to go to a desk in a hotel, an airport, etc. and tell an official there that you have arrived package tourist independent traveller mass tourism: it is a form of tourism that involves thousands of people going to the same resort often at the same time of year.
