To What Extent Had Medical Knowledge And Treatment Improved From 1359 to 1590

6-1009

On the one hand medical treatment improved in those times because they’re were many differences such as using experiments, they had an improved understanding about anatomy, there observation skills were greater and they had less focus on the super natural not to say that they stopped believing in the supernatural beliefs.Theese few differences improved medical knowledge and history.

On the other hand there were a large amount of Continuity, the things that stayed the same throughout a period of time like doctors took urine samples to diagnose illnesses patients were bleed because some believed it helped. Many people believed in the four humours in addition to this for a long interlude of time people did not have a full understanding of germs. In conclusion i think that medical knowledge improved more than medical treatment because people like pare found out knowledge and Vesalius challenged Galen. They shared there knowledge with the rest of the world but medical treatments changed but not as drastically as medical knowledge. The differences of medical treatment and knowledge help doctors of today able to do well in their jobs and not make any silly mistakes.
