Birkdale - Nepal, Kathmandu. sending 6th formers yearly yr 10+ ~ 20 kids, working in slum south of K. raising money to pay for new school building + supporting Christian Community in Leprosy colony. Trips relatively cheap due to contacts. Some Christians, but most not. All attend church meetings there. Go in Easter, missing a few days of lent term. 3wks. via deputy's contact but permeates school culture. Dean Close - Uganda. gradually building school each year from money raised. 2 teachers sent. Joint mission partners with CMS. Reigate - community service / Geography project to Belize October half term. Redecoration / resources for schools there. Visit Mennonite community. Uganda - building glorified campsite overlooking rift valley to sustain other projects, get involvement with local community. These resources are available. Also built Maternity clinic.
