Objective

I am a highly motivated individual seeking a full time career with a stable or growing company in which I can use my work experiences as well as gain new ones. I am also looking for a company that offers growth opportunities for a person that can prove themselves. I love to interact with people and also a good problem solver. Work Experience Nationwide Insurance 1/2008 – 4/2009 Commercial Processor, Des Moines, IA 40 hour work week •

Job responsibilities included critiquing and correcting insurance quotes for underwriters based on knowledge of insurance guidelines . A member of the new hire mentoring committee which helped with answering any work related questions and providing a save and inviting work environment.

Store Manager 11/2007-11/2008 Short Stop, Des Moines, IA Part time •

Job responsibilities include providing excellent frontline customer service with a smile on my face and great interjection in my voice to greet clients as they enter and exit the store in a timely manner. To delegate duties that promotes a clean, safe and marketable environment. Also responsible for counting the daily income of money when doing the morning books, shift cuts, bank deposits, checking in vendors, invoices, work schedules and keeping employees motivated to come to work.

Quality Assurance Manager 9/2003 – 5/11/2007 Qwest, Des Moines, IA 40 hour work week •

This work experience was a very educational and enhancing one. Started as a phone sales and service representative via telecommunications (home phone, cell phone, narrow and broadband internet, long distance and direct television) from September 2003 to January 2006. Had hands on experience with resolving valued customers problems with their services in a timely manner as well as taking orders for new or additional services. After 2 years of online sales and service I took a promotion to Quality Assurance Manager which involved providing valued, trusted and measurable feedback to the Mass Markets Organization in the spirit of continuous improvement. This position gave me the opportunity to have more hands on access to the quality of customer and representative relationships. I was able to audit and give feedback on the positives that the representatives where demonstrating for continued success and also able to provide feedback on the avenues for improvement. Did hands on training with new hires on a regular basis to promote quality learning and the correct work etiquette. To have such an important role gave me value and honor and I was extremely proud to be part of a quality team.

75B10/ Military Secretary 1/2000 - 1/2003 US Army, Fort Drum, NY 40 hour work week



My job responsibilities included doing Promotions, Non Commissioned Officer Reports, Finance, in and out processing, delegation of physical fitness training and tests to four soldiers. Also was the in charge of four soldiers when my Sergeant was not on duty. Worked with Micro soft word, Excel, did spreadsheets, used a copy machine on a daily basis and also had to multi-task via customer service and answering the phones.

Package Loader/ Delivery Driver 6/1994 - 12/1999 United Parcel Service, Greensboro, NC 35 hour work week •

Loading various types of packages on four UPS trucks to go out for delivery. A very fast paced job which required quick reading and sorting by the service address. Also did part time driving to deliver packages to customers and had hands on direct customer contact. This job required routine discipline, competence and integrity. Required one to be self paced with little to know supervision with the responsibility of still getting the job done.

Junior Varsity Basketball Coach 11/1994 – 3/1997 Greensboro Day School •

Worked with 11 ninth graders. Duties included preseason conditioning and weight lifting, guard development to include passing, ball handling, shooting/scoring and defensive skills. Did game scouting and watched opponent tape to evaluate game strategy. Incorporated offensive and defensive plays and knowledge of the game.
