AIR DECCAN TERMS & CONDITIONS Check-in Check-in starts 2 hours prior to scheduled departure and check in counters close 30 minutes before scheduled departure. Boarding will be denied without refund, except for taxes, if you do not comply with the check in deadline. Groups having more than 10 members are required to check in at least 1 hour 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. Every passenger is requested to kindly confirm, with the call centre at (your city code) 39008888 the status of the flight atleast 6 hrs prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Boarding Passengers are requested to be at the boarding gate 20 mins prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Passengers who do not report on time will be termed as NO SHOW passengers and will be denied boarding without any refund. Seating Air Deccan has a policy of free seating and does not provide pre-assigned seat numbers during boarding on any of its flights. Children aged below 15 years and passengers aged above 60 years will not be allowed to sit near the emergency exits on any Air Deccan flight. Photo Identification A person shall be denied boarding unless that person presents a ticket valid and duly issued in accordance with carrier's Regulations along with a valid photo identity card at the time of check-in. The birth certificate of infants will have to be shown at the airport for verification of age else a full ticket will have to be purchased. A ticket is not transferable. Baggage Maximum Check-In Baggage per Adult/Child allowed is 15 Kgs. No Baggage is allowed for Infants. Maximum Cabin Baggage allowed is 10 Kgs / passenger not exceeding 20x14x9 inches in dimension. Excess Baggage charges are Rs.70/Kg on all sectors. Check in baggage allowance for Helicopter travel for Adult/Child is 5kg per head, Cabin baggage and excess baggage is not allowed in Helicopter flights. Due to airport security regulations, no cabin baggage is allowed on the Jammu-Delhi and the Srinagar-Delhi flights but check-in baggage allowed on these sectors is 25kgs per passenger. Passengers are requested not to carry any valuables in their checked in baggage. Air Deccan will not take responsibility in event of loss/damage of the same in transit. Air Deccan is not liable for the delay in delivery of checked in baggage that has not been uplifted or for damage occasioned by delay in the carriage by air of passengers or baggage. Receipt without complaint of registered baggage on termination of journey, shall be prima facie evidence that the baggage has been delivered correctly and in good condition. Incase of delayed delivery of baggage or damaged baggage, it is mandatory to fill the PIR (property irregularity report) upon arrival. Security Removed Articles The Airline shall not take any responsibility for security removed articles like dry cell batteries, knives, scissors, sharp instruments, tools, firearms, ammunition, toy replicas and other such objects. Rescheduling Re-scheduling of the ticket is only possible up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. Thereafter, it is only possible to cancel the reservation. Rescheduling fee of Rs.200/- per passenger along with the fare difference will be charged for any postponements / advancements. Tickets booked under Superflier/ Valueflier can be re-scheduled only once per passenger per sector as per the terms and conditions under these schemes. Cancellation Charges 72 hours of scheduled departure - 10% of the basic fare + transaction fee. 72-48 hours of scheduled departure - 20% of the basic fare + transaction fee 48-24 hours of scheduled departure - 30% of the basic fare + transaction fee. 24-1 hour of scheduled departure - 50% of the basic fare + transaction. Only taxes will be refunded in case the passenger is a No-Show or cancels within 1 hour from the scheduled departure time.No refund will be given to NO-SHOW passengers who do not report either at the check-in counter or the boarding gate on time. No monetary refund for cancellation of tickets booked under Super/ Valueflier Scheme. All manual refunds take minimum 14 working days to be processed. All refunds have to be collected only from the point of purchase of the ticket. Note: Only bonafide passengers holding valid Air Deccan tickets booked at Airport Counters are allowed to cancel tickets and collect refund at Airport Counters. It is mandatory to show original photo identity card with a written signed request for cancellation of the ticket, on a photocopy of the identity card at the Airport Counter in order to cancel a ticket and to collect refund. The photocopy of the identity card will be retained by the Airport Staff. Force Majeure Conditions In case of flight cancellation / delay / grounding / re-directing due to Force Majeure conditions, the terms and conditions relating to cancellation charges will not apply and the airline will not be obligated to pay any refund. Flight Delays In case of circumstances beyond its control, Carrier may without notice, delay a flight. If due to such circumstances Carrier delays a flight more than 2 hours and is unable to provide previously confirmed space, Carrier shall either: Reschedule the journey for travel on the next Air Deccan flight on the same sector, subject to availability without any extra charge, based on the passengers convenience OR Enable a full refund of the ticket as paid for by the passenger and shall be under no further liability to the passenger. (The passenger will be required to collect the refund from the point of purchase.) Note: The passenger will have to cancel or re-schedule the ticket before the departure of the delayed flight else the ticket will become a no-show and will not be entitled to any refund or re-scheduling. Flight Cancellations In case of circumstances beyond its control, Carrier may without notice, cancel a flight. If due to such circumstances Carrier cancels a flight, Carrier shall either:
