Mini Biography 

Born on October 27, 1858- January 6,1919

 Is from the United States  Studied in Harvard University reading books and liked boxing  Entered politics but in 1884, he was ill and didn’t work for some time  Was elected president in 1904  Got Nobel Peace prize in 1906 for mediating the Russo-Japanese war for ending the Japanese-Russo war  His nickname was “ Teddy”

Conflict

 The Japanese and the Russo were having war in 1904-1905  More than 40,000 people were dead  It was because Russia’s expansion was getting in the way

of Japan’s plan of gaining more of the Asian land

 Knowing how to get along with people  How to negotiate others to have peace and not use violence  Don’t give up because if you always give up you won’t be able to do something successfully
