The Ultimate Medication There is a Medication that is revealed in Scripture that has been prescribed for every believer. This Medication should be an absolutely essential part of the Spiritual Medicine Chest in every home in which believers live. This booklet is study of what Scripture teaches about this Medication. • Firstly you will learn what this Medication is. In other words you will gain knowledge of it so that you will be able to use it. If a person does not know what a cell phone is, he will obviously not use it because he has no knowledge of it. • Secondly, once you have knowledge of this amazing Medication, you will learn how to practically apply it in every area of your life. To return to the cell phone analogy, once a person knows what that instrument is, he then needs to learn how to use it. Only then will that instrument be of benefit to him – only if he applies his knowledge and USES it. It is the same with this Medication – once you know about it and have learnt how to apply it in your life – USE IT! The greatest benefit of walking in the truth that is revealed in this booklet is that your intimate relationship with your Saviour will grow day by day as you discover more and more about the wonderful provision He has made available to you.

The Ultimate Medication Chapter 1

Avails for Any Ailment: He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. (Psalm 107:20) In this teaching I want to introduce what Scripture infers as being the Ultimate Medication. In other words it is a spiritual medication that can effectively be used for literally any ailment. It does not matter whether the problem is a disease or sickness such as HIV Aids, cancer, heart problems or the common cold. It does not matter whether the problem is an addiction such as nicotine, alcohol or any other of the numerous drugs, which enslave thousands of our young people today. It matters not whether the problem is a psychological or spiritual one. Neither does it matter whether the problem is caused by crime or natural disasters. Any believer who applies this Miracle Medication to his/her particular need in faith, will see positive results. It is also a preventative medication. In other words it is protective. There might be no problem in your life that needs healing, but if you apply this medication on a daily basis, it will protect you from the thousands of problems that have the potential of making your life hell on earth. It will in other words immunise you. There is no doubt about that. It is the truth because Scripture promises it. I want to interpret the above scripture verse somewhat differently to the way Christians have always interpreted it. It says; He (the Almighty) sent His Word and healed them... We’ve always understood Word to mean the Scriptures or promises He has spoken regarding healing or deliverance. More specifically we have understood Word as referring to 5

His Son whom He sent to be the Deliverer or Healer. (John 1:1) I have no problem with that interpretation, it is truth. However, a literal interpretation in the context of this teaching is also the truth, and is a revelation, which makes wonderful sense.

The Single Word: He sent His “Word” (singular) and healed them... What if the Father meant us to understand that literally? It would mean that He sent us a single Word consisting of several Hebrew alphabetical characters or letters. It would mean that a specific “Word” would actually be the catalyst of our healing. Just like an electrical switch in the “on” position would cause the electrical current to flow into the appliance causing it to work. In this booklet we are going to discover this “Word” which is the Father’s Ultimate Medication that He made available to us.

The Faith Aspect in the Application of this Medication: If this medication did not work when applied correctly according to the instructions in the Scriptures, then we may as well throw out the written Word of the Almighty and go it alone in this world. But don’t take that drastic action until you understand what this Medication (Word) is, and above all, how to use (apply) it in your specific situation, in faith. Faith itself is not the medication, but it is important to understand that faith is an absolutely essential ingredient in its application. If it is applied in doubt or unbelief, it will definitely not work. There are examples in Scripture of people who have used this medication in unbelief and it did not work for them. In other words they used it in the same way some people use a lucky charm. That is superstition or religion and is an abomination to the Father. He requires faith or childlike trust from those who need a touch from Him.

But without faith it is impossible to please the Almighty, for those that come to Him must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) But let him (the person who seeks a touch from the Almighty) ask in faith, without doubting. For he that doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Master. (James 1:6-7) So faith in this medication (Word) has to be developed in order for it to be effective. Another thing, which is closely related to faith, when using this medication, is faithfulness in its use. Don’t make the mistake of using it for a day or even a week or two, and when nothing apparently happens, give up on it. If you do that it only proves that you didn’t really believe in it in the first place. Be patiently faithful in the use of this medication, (James 1:3) and the Father will come through for you. Even if it takes years, NEVER GIVE UP. Chapter 2 identifies the Word that is the Medication.

The Ultimate Medication Chapter 2 The Medication: The first chapter of the prophet Isaiah paints a very bleak picture of the unhealthy state of YaHUaH’s people. They are sick literally and figuratively because of their sin and iniquity. Alas, a sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a brood of evildoers, children who are corrupters! They have forsaken YaHUaH, they have provoked to anger the Holy One of Israel, they have turned away backward. Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faints. (YeshaYahu - Isaiah.1:4-5 NKJ with the Name replaced) Reading that, we want to run away and hide, for that is really the state of every person who is living without YaHUaH. It sounds as if there is no hope for these people of YaHUaH. But there is! I want to emphasize that. THERE IS HOPE. YaHUaH has made available the Ultimate Medication, which has the power to heal His people no matter how far they’ve fallen. The next verse infers it even though it also continues to paint this tragic picture. But at the end of it there is a glimmer of light for those who have eyes to see. From the sole of the foot even to the head, There is no soundness in it, But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up, OR SOOTHED (HEALED) WITH OINTMENT. (YeshaYahu - Isaiah.1:6)

Can you see the light? There is a hidden promise in this scripture of an Ointment, which has the power to heal any problem. This Ointment is a single Word, remember, but it has to be applied. I might be suffering from a blinding headache, but the painkiller in the medicine chest will avail nothing unless it is taken. This Ointment (Word) of YaHUaH is there for each one of His children, but will avail nothing unless taken faithfully – in faith.

Identifying the Ointment (Word): This Ointment is the Ultimate Medication that the Father wants to prescribe for you today. What is it, and how is it applied? The name of this Spiritual Medication and therefore the Word that we have been talking about is YaHUShA. That’s strange, for YaHUShA is also the correct or true Name of our Saviour - the Son of YaHUaH. This Name (Word) is a combination of two Hebrew words; Yahu and Sha. Yahu is the short or poetic form of our heavenly Father’s personal Name YaHUaH, and Sha is the Hebrew word for salvation or deliverance. Salvation means healing, health and well being (wholeness of life) in every sense – spiritually, physically, materially and socially. Salvation in its purest sense means intimacy with Father YaHUaH, in other words, a very close relationship with Him. The Name YaHUShA literally means; YaHUaH’s Salvation, The Salvation of YaHUaH or YaHUaH is Salvation. (healing, restoration, health etc.)

How the Name is Pronounced: At this stage I should explain the pronunciation that I believe the Spirit of truth is revealing to seeking believers in these last days in which we’re living. The Hebrew tribe that we know as Judah from which the term Jew comes from is actually Yahudah in Hebrew. The meaning of this word is “Praise to Yahu” or “Yahu be praised”. The only difference between this name and the Father’s Name is the 4th character of the Hebrew alefbet (alphabet) - “Dalet”, the

“D”. Take this character out of the name Yahudah and you have the exact form of of the Father’s Name - YaHUaH. In Hebrew the Father’s Name is made up of the four Hebrew characters - Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey known as the Tetragrammaton. In the Name the Vav is pronounced “u” as in Ruth, not “v” as in Victor. That is why I always write the four characters of the Tetragrammaton in upper caps.

The Son’s Name: He came in His Father’s Name, (John 5:43) and inherited His Father’s Name because of His obedience. (Heb.1:4 & Phil.2:9) That means He bears the same Name as His Father. This is not only a Scriptural principle but is simple logic as well, because children always bear their father’s name. A son carries his father’s name for life, while a daughter carries her father’s name until she marries and then adopts her husband’s name. Those of us who will be part of Mashiach’s (Messiah) bride will also carry His Name. His Name is YaHUShA. The only difference between His Name and the Father’s Name is the Hebrew character “Shin” - “Sh”. Therefore His Name is made up of two words - YAHU and SHA. Sha means “salvation”, therefore the Messiah’s Name means Yahu Saves.

The Same Name for Two Entities!: So the Saviour and the Medication have the same Name – YaHUShA. Although the Person YaHUShA and the Medication YaHUShA cannot be separated, Scripture does make an important distinction between the two. The Man YaHUShA is the Saviour who came to this world for the specific purpose of providing Salvation for mankind. He did this by offering His life on behalf of every individual human being. This offering necessitated having His body broken and His Blood shed. His body was literally afflicted

with our wounds, bruises and putrefying sores! (YeshaYahu - Isaiah 53:4-6) Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of the Almighty, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; And with His stripes we are healed. After He had successfully accomplished this, He gave us His Name to use in faith in order to appropriate whatever healing we needed. Whether it was forgiveness, physical healing, deliverance from addiction, protection from criminal activity or natural disasters – there is no limit to YaHUaH’s Salvation through the Name of His Son YaHUShA. That is TRUTH that needs to be known by every believer so that it can be appropriated. What is this Truth? The fact that He gave us His Name to use is the Truth that needs to be known. He did not give us His Name just as a nice to know doctrine that we discuss and debate endlessly and never actually USE for our own benefit and also USE in order to bless others. What did the Saviour say in the context of us USING His Name? And whatsoever you shall ask in My Name, That will I do, that the Father may be esteemed in the Son. If you shall ask anything in My Name, I WILL DO IT. (John 14:13-14) We could see Salvation as the heavenly Bank with unlimited funds available to the believer. YaHUShA has literally given us a blank cheque. His Name on that cheque is the only Signature that will release the needed funds. The wonderful thing is that each believer has the right to sign the cheque with YaHUShA’s Name when he/she

speaks that Name in faith. Speaking the Name (Word) in faith is the act of putting the Signature to the cheque and presenting (returning) it to the Father. (YeshaYahu - Isaiah 55:11) So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The Word that the Father sent is of course His Son, who is the Word that was made flesh, (John 1:14) and who came in His Father’s Name – that single Word that alone identifies the Creator. (John 5:43 & 12:13) When a believer then speaks that Word (Name) he is in actual fact “returning” it to the Father who sent it in the first place. When I “send” someone a cheque of $1000 for example, I am sending them my name (signature) which is the word on that cheque that ensures the $1000 will be paid, assuming of course that the funds are available in my bank account. The person to whom I gave the cheque will then present it to the bank where they then verify that it is the legitimate (true) signature. If it is, they will honour me (my name) by paying out the $1000 to the beneficiary. The bank then “returns” the cheque to me for it has accomplished that for which I sent it out originally. YeshaYahu - Isaiah 55:11 is the perfect description of how believers have the right to “sign” cheques with the true Signature of the true Name of the Saviour who provides the blessings to us, In chapter 3 we see from the Scriptures that the Name of the Saviour and the Saviour Himself have completely different functions. Both are essential ingredients of the Salvation of YaHUaH.

The Difference between the Name and the Person: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) We are saved by the Name! Isn’t that exactly what Scripture says? There is no other name whereby we must be saved. It’s faith in the Name that does the saving. Yes YaHUShA the Person made salvation available when He shed His Blood on the torture stake to redeem mankind. But faith in His Name appropriates that salvation. This Scripture makes it very clear that as there is no other name, there is therefore only one Name. That Name is “ YaHUShA” which means YaHUaH’s Salvation. The Name is not the Person of YaHUShA although YaHUShA is His Name. I realise that I appear to be playing with words, but we need to understand that the two – the Person YaHUShA, and the Name YaHUShA have completely different functions in YaHUaH’s plan of redemption. The Name did not die for us, the Person did. But the Name used in faith appropriates or takes possession of the salvation, healing or any other need that the Person, through His death, made available. That is why it is essential to have faith in and use the correct Name. The apostle Kefa (Peter) knew this very well. He ministered to people by boldly signing cheques with the Name YaHUShA whenever the need arose. One day when he and John went to the temple to pray, they came across a beggar who had been lame from birth. Listen how Kefa ministered to this man’s need by using the Name. Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the Anointed Name of YaHUShA of Nazareth, rise up 13

and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. (Acts 3:6-7 NKJ adjusted) Notice how he specifically refers to the Name YaHUShA being anointed. In other words, the Name itself is the Ointment or Medication. A bit further on in this booklet we will see that this is what Scripture actually teaches – that the Name of the Saviour is literally the Ultimate Medication, the Ointment or Anointing of YaHUaH. When the people saw this miracle they thronged Peter and John. There is nothing like a miracle to draw the crowds. Peter saw the opportunity and immediately preached YaHUShA – the Salvation of YaHUaH. (Acts 3:11-15) In preaching YaHUShA he was teaching on both the Person and the Name. This significant truth can be seen in the following Scripture. Notice how both the Name and the Person are referred to as having distinctly different functions. And His Name through faith in His Name hath made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yea, the faith which is by Him (the Person) has given him this perfect soundness (healing) in the presence of you all. (Acts 3:16 KJV) Can you see the distinction between the Person YaHUShA – who provided the salvation – and His Name, which appropriates the salvation when applied in faith? It was faith in the Name that healed the man. O yes, the Person YaHUShA is Salvation, and provided Salvation, but it is faith in His Name (that single Word) that makes Salvation a reality in a person’s life. The Name Attacked: Peter and John are brought before the religious leaders and questioned regarding this notable miracle. By what power, (Anointing) or by what Name, have you done this?

This is the question in Scripture that shows a name is much more than just the set of characters that identifies a person. A name actually carries the owner’s authority or power. But it is important to understand that this authority is vested in the name – that set of characters that identifies the person who is the authority. If my name, Johann Möller, carries my authority, which it does, then my authority will not be represented by the name Janus Muller. Why not? Because the latter name does not represent me. It is as simple as that! Our Messiah was (and still is) a Yahud (Jew) who came in His Father’s Name and authority. That set of Characters that make up His true Name identifies Him as a Yahud and the King of Yahudah. He will soon return as YaHUShA coming in His Father’s Name YaHUaH. He said: All authority is given unto Me in heaven and in earth… go therefore in My Name and heal the sick… (Mat.28:18 & Mark 16:17-18) By what power, or by what Name, have you done this? Then Peter, filled with the Set-apart Spirit, said unto them. You rulers of the people, and elders of Israel. If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the lame man, by what means he is made whole; (which medication healed him) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of YaHUShA Anointed of Nazareth, whom you impaled, whom the Almighty raised from the dead, even by Him does this man stand here before you whole. (healed) Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:7-12 NKJ adjusted) Although there would be no Name if there were no person called YaHUShA, the Scripture makes a very clear differentiation between the two. Without the Name and specifically faith in the Name, the Salvation that YaHUShA made available, could not be appropriated by anyone. But because the two are so closely linked together, prayer in

the Name of YaHUShA, without faith in the sacrificial death of YaHUShA, would make of the Name a magic word, and prayer in the Name some sort of incantation that is being chanted, in other words superstition and witchcraft. It is essential for a person to believe in YaHUShA’s death on his behalf in order to have the right to use His Name in prayer. Before we have a look at what Scripture teaches with regard to the Name YaHUShA actually being the Spiritual Ointment or healing Balm, it is important that I first explain something else. You have no doubt been wondering why I persist in using YaHUShA Anointed in this booklet instead of the familiar Jesus Christ. In chapter 4 this will be explained.

Anti-Semitism: YaHUaH was in the Anointed, (Messiah) reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the Word of reconciliation. (2 Cor.5:19) Our Saviour was born into a family of the Hebrew tribe Yahudah. The Father had decided to bless mankind and make salvation available through the Hebrew people. That fact cannot be argued away. YaHUShA Himself said that salvation would come through the Jews. (John 4:22) The Hebrews are known as the Semitic people because they are the descendants of Noah’s eldest son Shem. He had named his firstborn Shem in honour of the personal Name of the Eternal – YaHUaH. Shem is the Hebrew word meaning; NAME. Therefore the Jewish people are the Name or Semitic people - Semites. The reason why the Jewish people have always been, and still are being persecuted by the rest of humanity, is because they are the Name people. The nations of the world were and still are jealous of YaHUaH’s chosen people. They were chosen by Him, not because they were something special, but because He needed a people through whom He could enter humanity and become a Man in order to bring salvation and to reconcile all of mankind to Himself. Those who came to faith in YaHUShA would have the responsibility of preaching reconciliation through preaching His Name – the Word. When YaHUShA was on this earth 2000 years ago He warned the Jewish people that they would be hated by all nations because of, or for His Name’s sake. (Mat.24:9) In the whole salvation set-up, The Name (Heb. Ha Shem) plays a very important role. It is through calling upon the 17

Name of YaHUaH’s Salvation – YaHUShA, in faith that persons enter into a covenant relationship with the Father. A person becomes a child of YaHUaH, ie, born into His family (born again) by calling upon His Name in faith. The following are a few of the many Scripture verses confirming that this is so. Meditate prayerfully upon them and ask the Father in the Name of YaHUShA to reveal the importance of His Name to you. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of YaHUaH shall be delivered: For in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as YaHUaH has said, And in the remnant whom YaHUaH shall call. (Joel 2:32 KJV with the Name restored) And it shall come to pass, That whosoever shall call upon the Name of YaHUaH Shall be saved. (Acts 2:21 KJV with the Name restored) For the Scripture says; Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Yahud and the Greek: For the same Master over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the Name of YaHUaH shall be saved. (Romans 10:11-13 KJV with the Name and correct title restored) And in very deed for this cause I (YaHUaH) have raised you up, for to show in you My power, and that My Name may be declared throughout all the earth. (Exodus 9:16 KJV)

Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, and what is His Son’s Name, If you can tell? (Proverbs 30:4-6 KJV) YaHUaH hear you in the day of trouble, The Name of the Mighty One of Jacob defend you. Send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion. Remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice; Selah Grant you according to your own heart, And fulfil all your counsel. We will rejoice in Your Salvation, And in the Name of our Mighty One we will set up our banners. YaHUaH fulfil all your petitions. Now I know that YaHUaH saves His Anointed, He will hear Him from His set-apart heavens With the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the Name of YaHUaH our Almighty. They are brought down and fallen, But we are risen, and stand upright. Save YaHUaH! let the King hear us when we call. (Psalm 20 KJV with the Name and correct title restored) And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall esteem Me. (Psalm 50:15 KJV) Because he has set his love upon Me, Therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known My Name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My Salvation.

(Psalm 91:14-16 KJV) But as many as received Him, To them gave He power to become the sons of the Almighty, Even to them that believe on His Name. (John 1:12 KJV) He that believes on Him is not condemned, but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of the Almighty. (John 3:18 KJV) And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the Name Of His Son YaHUShA Messiah, And love one another, as He gave us commandment. (1 John 3:23 KJV with the Name restored) These things have I written Unto you that believe on the Name of the Son of the Almighty; That you may know that you have eternal life, And that you may believe on the Name of the Son of the Almighty. (1 John 5:13 KJV)

The Enemy’s Main Target: The term anti-Semitism, although it has the meaning of being anti or against the Jewish people, has the more accurate meaning of being anti or in place of the Name. Anti-Shem literally translated would be Against the Name, or in place of the Name. If faith in the Name is central to the redemption or salvation of mankind as Scripture so clearly teaches, then guess what will be the main target of YaHUaH’s arch-enemy, Satan? The Name of course. That is self-evident and should not surprise us in the least. If there is only One Name by which to be saved, (Acts 4:12) then guess which Name Satan will attempt to destroy? If

he cannot actually destroy it, then deception would be his next strategy. He will deceive mankind with another name. That is exactly what he did. A person that is living in deception does not know he is deceived, otherwise it would not be deception. The very nature of deception is that people are blissfully unaware of it. When people are deceived it means that they are ignorant of or lack knowledge of certain truths. They obviously have some truth, but the enemy starts sowing the seeds of deception in certain principal truths. According to Scripture, lack of knowledge (of truth) destroys people, (Hosea 4:6) whereas knowledge of the truth sets people free. (John 8:32) If people have no knowledge of the true Name for example, they will not be able to utilise the salvation through faith in the true Name. Destruction is then automatic. That again is simple logic.

Deception: In Scripture, in spite of YaHUaH warning us not to add to the Scriptures or take away from them, (Deut.4:2, Prov. 30:6, Rev.22:18-19) we (mankind) have done exactly that. In the Old Testament His Name – YaHUaH – has been replaced with “the LORD” approximately 7000 times. Lord is a title and not a name. Pagan mighty ones (gods) and many self-important people also carry the title Lord. Signing your title, whatever it may be, on your personal cheque will not release the funds you need. Only your authentic signature will do that job. In the New Testament the authentic Name of our Saviour was replaced with the name Jesus. This started happening when the first New Covenant Scriptures began to be copied for distribution to the many assemblies of new believers that started to spring into existence all over the known world of the first century CE. The deception established itself as acceptable “truth” about 300 AD when the Roman Emperor Constantine became a Christian. The Roman name Iesus, a transliteration of the Greek name

Iesous, became the official name of the Christian Saviour YaHUShA. Jesus is a false name because it is not a Greek or Latin translation of YaHUShA. Neither is it an accurate transliteration of the Hebrew Name of our Master.

The Messiah “Inherited” Another Name: Jesus is “another” name. It is NOT the Greek, Latin or English translation of the Hebrew Name YaHUShA. That statement can quite easily be proved. The Greek translation of the Hebrew word Sha (SALVATION) is: SOTER, and the Latin translation is: SALVARE from which we get the English SALVATION. Therefore when we accurately translate the Saviour’s Name, YaHUShA – Yah’s Salvation into Greek, we get IASOTER or SOTERYAH, and the Latin translation would be: SALVARYAH. So where does IESOUS – IESUS and JESUS come from? There is much speculation on how this deception happened. It is not easy to unravel exactly how it came about. How it happened is not the point, the fact that JESUS is “another” name, is the point. Satan is not stupid. He knows that the best way to deceive is to counterfeit the truth. The most successful counterfeits are those that seem to be closest to the real thing. In the case of the Name of our Messiah, the substitution happened over a period of centuries. Today it is just taken for granted or presumed that Jesus is the English translation of the Hebrew Name of our Saviour. Presumption is a dangerous thing especially when the truth is compromised. Transliteration is the process of carrying over a word from one language to another, as far as possible maintaining the original pronunciation. As a transliteration the Greek Iesous – pronounced ye soos, does not come very close to the Hebrew YaHUShA. But with a lot of imagination I suppose it could be argued that it is a transliteration into Greek. But it certainly is not a transliteration into English. Jesus –

pronounced Gee Zuz does not sound anything like YaHUShA. Regardless of exactly how this deception happened, the fact is it did happen. All over the world the Jewish Messiah is known by a Greek name that bears no relationship at all, with regard to either meaning or pronunciation, to His true Name. That is the truth! We have been deceived and the Spirit of Truth is in the process of revealing the Truth by exposing the deception. Our enemy was successful in de-Judaising YaHUShA and deceiving the Church into accepting the name of the pagan sun deity Sous or in English, Zeus as their Saviour’s name. Iesous or Jesus is a much closer transliteration of Zeus than it is of YaHUShA. When we look at the religious art of the Roman Catholic Church, saints are depicted with halos over their heads. Have you ever thought about the origin of this sign? Far from being Scriptural, it is in actual fact a symbol of the sun – thus honouring Zeus the mythical sun deity and son of the equally mythical Jupiter. At the time Constantine became a Christian, the Babylonian religion was combined with Christianity and very subtly the Christ of Christianity became confused with the chief pagan sun deity Zeus. In their early morning worship ceremonies, the pagan Greeks used to turn towards the rising sun in the East, lift their hands in adoration and proclaim; “Ie Sous, ie Sous” in worship. Translated into English that is; “Hail Zeus, hail Zeus” or “Jesus, Jesus.” This same modern-day practice is what the prophet Ezekiel saw. He was shown a vision of future worship where religious men had their back to the temple where YaHUaH dwelt and worshipped the sun towards the east. (Ezek. 8:15-17) It is true that Christians do not purposely worship the sun deity Zeus. We have always worshipped the Father through His Son. But it is also true that we have used the wrong name for the Saviour, and have thus been in deception for many centuries.

It is obvious that the Father permitted this deception to take place. That does not mean that it was His perfect will. He did not initiate it, the enemy did. But YaHUaH gave us His Word, as well as His indwelling Spirit to guide and protect us. In spite of that, because of iniquity (sinful nature) and spiritual pride, we have allowed a very cunning enemy to mislead us. But YaHUaH will not be thwarted in His eternal purpose of redeeming mankind. Satan thought he had won when he managed to get YaHUShA murdered by the religious establishment, and too late had come to the realisation that he had played right into the Almighty’s hand. (1 Cor.2:8) In the same way he also thought that he had won a great victory when he managed to substitute a false name for the Saviour. To Satan’s horror and utter frustration, the Father in His amazing grace still saved people who in genuine ignorance called upon the false name in faith. Scripture teaches that all things work together for good to them that love the Almighty. (Rom.8:28) Therefore even the enemy’s brilliant plan to substitute a false name in our translated “Bibles”, backfired on him. Even so, millions of believers have unknowingly been in deception. That is why the devil is so angry now that his deception is being uncovered through the revelation of the true Name of our Saviour. The time is coming, in fact it has arrived, for the Father and His Son’s esteemed Names to be restored all over the world as He promised in John 12:28. In researching this subject on the internet, I have discovered that what is termed The Sacred Name Movement is spreading like wildfire all over the world. This is not a man made movement. With regard to the Name, spontaneous combustion is literally taking place in different places worldwide. It is like an out of control forest fire. Those who try to resist this revelation with their sentimental adherence to the false name will be consumed by the curse of

YaHUaH Himself and will be drawn even deeper into deception. And now, O you priests, this commandment is for you. If you will not hear, and if you will not lay it to heart, to give esteem to My Name, says YaHUaH of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings: Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not lay it to heart. (Mal.2:1-2 KJV with the Name restored) Now that we know the name Jesus is a very clever counterfeit, and therefore not the genuine Name, which the Word speaks of as being the only Name, (Acts 4:12) we can break away from the bondage of deception. Counterfeiting (deception) is a problem in many aspects of life. In the motor vehicle industry we are warned to use genuine spare parts as opposed to pirate parts. Although pirate parts are cheaper and will probably do the job required, chances are that in the long run they will let you down at a critical time. In medicine there are also cheaper imitations, which apparently do the job, but in the long term have a negative effect on the body. In the context of this article of the Name being a spiritual Ointment or Medication, I wonder whether the counterfeit name will also have a negative spiritual effect in the long term, on those who continue to use it, in spite of knowing it to be false? Personally I would rather stick to the genuine article. In chapter 5 we look at what the Scripture says about the Name being the healing Ointment of YaHUaH.

The Name YaHUShA is the Ointment: Let’s have a closer look at the Name as the Ointment our Father has provided, and its effectiveness when used in faith. Because of the fragrance of your good ointments your Name is Ointment poured forth, therefore the virgins love you. (Song 1:3 NKJ) You will notice in many translations that the word; as, has been added to this Scripture verse. We know it has been added because it is printed in italics, which means that the translators have inserted it to make “better sense” (in their opinion) of that portion of Scripture. The point is that they have added to Scripture and have thus changed the meaning of it. In the original Scriptures this verse teaches us that the Name is literally Ointment. It does not say that the Name is like ointment, but that it is actually the original or genuine Ointment. In Hebrew the word translated as OINTMENT is the word SHEMEN. Note that the root of shemen is the word SHEM, which is the Hebrew word name. Can you see the close connection between the Name and the Anointing (Ointment) of YaHUaH? So the Name is the Ointment or Anointing of the Almighty. When Scripture speaks of the Anointing it is referring to the Power and Authority of YaHUaH. The Set-apart Spirit is the Anointing. YaHUShA is the Messiah, (Ha Massiach) which means He is the Anointed One. He is the Anointed One (Kristu in Greek) because He had the Set-apart Spirit (Anointing) in Him without measure. The miracles He did were accomplished through the power of the Set-apart Spirit or Anointing. 26

When YaHUShA returned to heaven after His sacrificial death on our behalf, He said that the Father would send the Set-apart Spirit in His (YaHUShA’s) Name. (John 14:26) In other words the Anointing (Set-apart Spirit) would come through the Name and believers would then have the same Anointing operating within them that YaHUShA had. We would then have the potential of doing the same works that He did, in His Name. (John 14:12) But how would we accomplish these works practically? YaHUShA taught His disciples that when He went away, they would then pray to the Father in His (YaHUShA’s) Name, and whatever they asked would be done for them. (John 14:13-14, 16:23-24) The secret lies in the Name, it really does! Just before He ascended into heaven, YaHUShA instructed His disciples with these words. Notice again how faith in His Name is the Key to what His followers are supposed to accomplish in this world. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to every creature. He who believes and is baptised will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (Very similar to His words in John 3:18 where He teaches that those who do not believe in His Name are condemned already) “And these signs will follow those who believe in My Name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ... they will lay hands on the sick, and they (the sick) will recover. (Mark 16:15-18) His Name being the Anointing, what then is the purpose of the Anointing and therefore the Name’s purpose? What does Scripture teach? And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the Anointing. (YeshaYahu - Isaiah10:27 KJV)

It is clear from this verse that burdens and yokes will be destroyed by the Anointing. Therefore these problems are destroyed by the Name, because the Name is the Anointing. This confirms YaHUShA’s instructions that believers are to go into the world and in His Name accomplish the destruction of the devil’s works. (Mark 16:15-20, 1 John 3:8 & 23) An interesting and most significant fact of Scripture is that the word translated as Anointing in Isaiah 10:27 and Ointment in Songs 1:3 is the same Hebrew word SHEMEN. Another word for ointment is balm or salve. This word specifically refers to a medication. In Jeremiah 8 the prophet uses this word to describe the Ultimate Medication (which we now know is the Name) that the Father has made available to His people. This portion of Scripture is very sad. It speaks of the sick daughter of YaHUaH’s people, and even though the healing Balm is available, the people are not aware of it and they (the daughter) continues to waste away. I would comfort myself in sorrow, my heart is faint in me. Listen! The voice, the cry of the daughter of my people From a far country: (In the enemy’s captivity?) Is not YaHUaH in Zion? In not her King in her? Why have they provoked Me to anger with their carved images, And with foreign idols? (A perfect description of a false name) The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved! For the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt. I am mourning; Astonishment has taken hold of me. Is there no balm in Gilead, (Of course there is, but they refuse it) Is there no physician there? (Of course there is – His Name is YaHUShA)

Why then is there no recovery For the health of the daughter of my people? (Jeremiah 8:18-22 KJV) In the modern day context, there is very little healing because the people of YaHUaH refuse to use the Balm (Ointment of His Name) that He has made available at such great cost. He gave His very Life Blood so that we might be made perfectly well in spirit, soul and body. And the very Mighty One of peace set you apart completely; And I pray that your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Master YaHUShA Messiah. (1 Thes.5:23) Unfortunately many are rejecting this wonderful Balm of Gilead in favour of a centuries old imitation remedy that the greatest quack of all time has successfully deceived us with.

Applying the Balm of Gilead: Remember that the Name will avail for every situation, no matter how hopeless it may seem. It can and should also be used by believers to bring healing in a national crisis such as the present situation in Zimbabwe. I believe that the Ointment of YaHUShA’s Name, can be poured out upon Zimbabwe and its people to great effect by believers in that country. After all did He not promise; If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that My Name may be there forever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. (2 Chronicles 7:14-16 KJV)

Pouring out the Ointment upon Zimbabwe: For practical purposes I am going to pray a simply prayer showing how to apply the Name YaHUShA – the healing Ointment and Balm of Gilead. Father YaHUaH, we cry to You. We call upon Your Name in time of trouble - Psalm 50:15. Thank You that You will hear from heaven with the saving strength of Your right hand Psalm 20:6. We have no doubt that You will heal our land 2 Chron.7:14. Please take the enemy’s heavy burden from the people of Zimbabwe. We groan under this burden our Father. We cannot carry it any longer. Please destroy the yoke he has 30

placed upon our necks. You have promised Father that the yoke will be destroyed because of the Anointing - Isaiah 10:27. We know that this Ointment is the precious Name of Your Son and our Saviour, YaHUShA - Song 1:3. Therefore in boldness and childlike faith we pour out this Ointment upon our country Zimbabwe. YaHUShA – YaHUShA – YaHUShA – YaHUShA we apply the Ointment of Your Name. We smear the Balm of Gilead (Zimbabwe) into the wounds, hurts and putrefying sores of Your people. Soothe us and bring healing Father - Isaiah 1:6. YaHUShA – YaHUShA – YaHUShA – YaHUShA we pour out Your Name upon our country. Every city, every town, every village is permeated with this fragrant Ointment. Every farm and every homestead is saturated with it. We place Your Name upon all the people and You will bless them - Numbers 6:27. The enemy is being utterly destroyed by it while those who are called by Your Name are being completely healed and restored. YaHUShA – YaHUShA – YaHUShA – YaHUShA, Zimbabwe is absolutely saturated with Your Name. Save Master, redeem Master, heal Master, deliver Master. Thank You. We bless You for it, HalleluYAH! Payer for my Brother: This prayer is for a heart ailment, but it can be modified to fit into any physical situation. Don’t forget to apply this Medication faithfully. Abba Father, thank You that we have the privilege of approaching Your throne of grace boldly and without fear in the Name of Your Son YaHUShA. Thank You that He opened the way for us by shedding His precious Blood on our behalf. You have invited us to come to You in order to find grace and help in times of need - Heb.4:16. The way

has been opened for us Father, through the Blood, which even now is before Your throne and is as powerfully effective as it was on the day it was shed for us. Father, in childlike faith I pour out the Ointment of YaHUShA’s Name upon my brother __________ . YaHUShA, YaHUShA, YaHUShA, in faith I place Your precious name upon ________ who is suffering from a heart ailment. I anoint him with Your powerful Name. I see the Balm of Gilead permeating every cell of his body and bringing healing. Thank You that even now that precious Ointment is being carried through the arteries of his physical body with the vehicle of the Blood of YaHUShA. The fragrant Ointment is permeating his entire body, and especially his heart. Every chamber, ventricle and valve in that important organ is being cleansed and renewed. Every bit of harmful cholesterol is being dissolved and carried away. Bring my brother’s entire body in line with Your Word, Father. In faith I saturate him with Your Name, and he is totally healed. You promised that because he (my brother) has set his love upon You, therefore You will deliver him. You will set him on high because he has known Your Name. He calls upon You and You answer him. In his trouble You are with him, and will deliver him and honour him. You will satisfy him with long life and show him Your salvation - Ps. 91:14-16. I will faithfully anoint my brother Father, and trust You for a miracle. Amein.
