Sabbath is a sign between God and Man

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. John 13:31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath

Happy Sabbath: The 7th Day is a day of rest and holy convocation before the Lord our God, Jesus. Here's another clue that God gave us as to why we should keep the Sabbath. Exodus 31:13-17 13Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. 14Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. 17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. This sign that God has gave us is seen all throughout the bible in many scriptures among the prophets and apostles. For the household of God is "built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone" Ephesians 2:20-21

The Sabbath day points towards Jesus' return to rule all nations on earth.. Now let us understand it as not only a law but a time of fulfillment.
