The Nature of Sin Chart by R.S. Neaville
1. The nature of Adam started out as a Body plus a Spirit equaled a Living Soul Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 2. Through the fall of Adam into sin his Spirit fell into bondage to his flesh thus corrupting the Soul of Man. Spirit was to be in headship. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 3. The slave goes where the master goes. The Corrupt soul holds the Spirit in bondage with the Body. If the Soul dies intact the Spirit must go with it. As the law says.. "The soul who sins shall die." Romans7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 4. So We see the truth of how are spirits are bound to our bodies in the Sin nature The colors of the Chart correspond to the colors in the above*
