The Lord’s in the middle…. This is said to be the middle verse in the bible. Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. The center words in the center verse is “The Lord”. What is the shortest chapter in the Bible? (Answer - Psalms 117) What is the longest chapter in the Bible? (Answer - Psalms 119) Which chapter is in the center of the Bible (Answer - Psalms 118) Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118. Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118. Add these numbers up (594+594) and you get 1188. What is the center verse in the Bible? (Answer - Psalms 118:8) Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will for our lives? The next time someone says they would like to find God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word! Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Now isn't that odd how this worked out... or was God in the center of it? When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out God is all you need. Old Testament Book

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Don’t set anything on the bible…. When Bibles were translated and transcribed during the early 300 AD -1500AD the ink would not dry completely for several days. If something were placed on a newly transcribed set of pages the ink would adhere to the other pages and be transferred to the other page and would ruin the work. After the ink would dry it was in some cases several years it would still imprint whatever was set on it…..Does this still apply today.
