The LEGEND Alliance Charter Our purpose is the defense of destruction territory and the assault of all order owned BFO and keeps focusing on the end product of raiding the enemy capital city. As well as to create a large trusted player base for RVR, intel, RVR scenario groups, PQ grinds, PVE raids and other activities. We will foster an adult, informed and coordinated community of destruction players on Gorfang and build a strong meaningful alliance that will be the premier war fighters on Gorfang. Recruitment requirements - 15 active guild members of level 20 or higher - GMs must be committed to the game and their guilds. - Guild has to have at least 30 active members - Guilds should respect, agree to, and uphold the alliance rules and the officers that allow the alliance to function GMs Responsibilities upon Admission to LEGENDS - Ensure your entire guild has read & agrees to abide by this charter. - Ensure all GM’s & Officers are registered on this site & have access to alliance areas. - Ensure we have WORKING emails for GM’s and guild officers. (We do not send spam). - Make sure you check-in to the site at least once every 3 – 5 days to stay abreast of discussions - Manage your own player groups, adding and removing people when called for Alliance Rules - Respect others - No Harassing. - Respect other players the way you wish to be respected. Do not engage in name calling, arguing or any other activities that would purposefully be disrespectful to people. Everyone in the alliance will respect each other, other friendly guilds and alliances, and anyone in our own realm (we are all allies vs. the order army). You are all diplomats of this alliance; please represent us with the values and pride in which the alliance is built on. - Do not engage in arguments with other Destruction players who display their ignorance, keep a level head. Also, do not engage in degrading or harassing, as this leads to the misconception that our alliance is immature. Any infractions to this rule may lead to demotion or dismissal from the alliance. - Players who are booted from guilds within the Alliance, shall not be invited to any guild currently in the alliance under any circumstances, players on the officers do not add list will also not get into the alliance. This rule is in place to respect the decisions of the GM’s of this alliance. - Recruiting players from another LEGEND guild will not be permitted by any guilds in this alliance; this is destructive to the alliance and the guilds in question. - GM’s are responsible for policing their own guilds; if the alliance has to step in for repeated offenses the alliance council will provide a list of options to the GM in question. Loot Rules - When in an alliance warband or party loot is on a greed/need basis - If you will upgrade your current equipment immediately or within 3 levels you can roll need otherwise it’s a greed or pass
- Potions and other consumables, including trade materials are on greed or pass basis, no one needs for any of this stuff Alliance-chat The purpose of Alliance chat is to: - Report invaders in our borders (report attackers to towers and keeps, including numbers) - Make requests for RVR groups - Requests for help with quests, tasks, and game information - Requests for advice regarding classes, specs, etc. - PVP or PVE group solicitations - Call to Arms (see CTA section) Use of alliance chat should be restricted to alliance business and LFG calls. Examples, word of order movements, keeps under attack, help requested in a specific spot, plans for RVR, prepping alliance groups (PQs, Scenario Qs, Instances). We ask that guild officers police their own guild members. Any issue with a guild member is to be taken up with the appropriate guild's officer. If the issue is repeated and not dealt with by the guild in question, at the alliances option we can vote to remove the guild We propose you set it to speak-allowance for all full guild members Alliance Ventrilo Server Demigodz currently hosts a 100 slot alliance ventrilo server for all LEGEND guilds to use, there are officer rooms and member’s rooms for each guild as well as alliance rooms for everyone to come together. The most effective we can be as an alliance is to share the same server to make communication much easier between us and to get to know one another. We have great folks in this alliance please join voice comms whenever you can. Since there is a voice server you may find the in game chat windows don’t get used much, it’s much easier to talk to someone than to type stuff while you’re busy with stuff in game. All members are highly encouraged to join the server while you’re online. Ventrilo will be a requirement for alliance PVE raids and some RVR ops, please download it even if you have no mic to easier to listen to what’s going down than for someone to try and stop in the middle of a battle to type it to people who can’t hear the voice comms. Communication is an area that will make or break us as guilds and an alliance. CTA - CALL TO ARMS - It is crucial that the CTA system is not abused, if CTA system is abused Guilds will stop responding and then the focus of this alliance is no longer worth the time invested by its members. CTAs are for emergencies related to either an alliance owned Guild keep or the final keep in line to our City and the destruction city being sieged. A CTA will not be called for any other reason unless agreed upon by all the guild leaders or officers online at the time. - When a CTA is called everyone will report directly and immediately to the CTA rally location unless otherwise specified this would be the closest warcamp to the location in question. No one will be exempt from the CTA unless they cannot enter said area because it is too low for their
character. I would strongly advise members over time to keep an alt in T2 and T3 areas for CTA calls in the future. - It is crucial that response to CTAs is immediate; an unopposed group of players can take down a keep in less than 10 minutes if they are well organized. That leaves little time for travel and organization. We will call some practice CTA sparingly to make sure people know how to react. - During a CTA alliance chat will be used for intell and invites only, keep the chatter clear so people can keep abreast of the important information and react as quickly as possible. - If there is little or no time groups will proceed to the area of the CTA immediately upon arrival, Please try not to get their alone as you will most likely encounter enemy forces trying to delay any assistance. Votes - Voting is a mandatory requirement of GM’s in the LEGEND alliance. - Votes will be put up after a discussion of a proposed issue has been in place for 5 days. - Issues will remain up for vote for a period of five (5) days. - At the end of the voting period a 2/3 majority* of votes is required to pass the vote. - Abstain votes do not count toward the total vote; they are an acknowledgement of a vote by your guild. - Once an issue is voted on it will be carried out as quickly as possible. * This is a 2/3 majority of actual votes, not possible votes REALM Events - We will eventually have 10 guilds in the alliance, each guild be tasked with running one event in a two month period. - An event run by guilds that are sponsored by/in support of the LEGEND alliance. - Open to anyone on the destruction side to join. - Members of LEGENDS are encouraged to come and show support and help as much as possible. - Used as a tool to promote the LEGEND alliance and encourage people to join guilds in the LEGEND alliance. Alliance Only Events - Each Guild in LEGEND will run one alliance event per month - These events are for LEGEND members only. - This is an alliance only event, without strong participation by LEGEND members the events aren’t fun. - LEGEND members are STRONGLY encouraged to participate to ensure a fun and successful event. - Used to promote unity within the LEGEND alliance. - Prizes and/or gold may be given out as determined by the type of event and the event leader. Types of events (including but not limited to) City raids Keep/BFO raids
PQ groups Tome unlocks RvR raids Instance runs Hidden lair bosses Scavenger Hunts Etc. Violations of Rules This Alliance Charter is binding upon all members of all guilds which make up the Alliance. Violations of these rules should be reported to guild and Alliance leaders or posted in the Alliance forum, and discussions about these violations will take place on the forums LEGEND alliance has a “3 Strike” policy, meaning if you violate any of the above stated rules your guild may be given a “strike”, 3 strikes against your guild will result in the guild being put up for discussion of disciplinary action up to and including a vote of removal from the alliance. Examples of “Strikes” include, but are not limited to the following. - Missing a vote. - Failure to run events as outlined. - Violation of chat policy. - Failure of a guild to maintain active members. - GM’s unwilling to maintain control of their guilds. - Failure to comply with an alliance request of action. Strike Removal Strikes may be removed by the following mechanisms as determined by the Alliance Officers. Time – A strike may be removed after a set period of time as determined by the Alliance Officers. Restitution – A strike will be removed if the guild makes amends in the manner determined by the Alliance Officers. Explanation – In most cases a strike may be removed as simply as giving an adequate explanation as to why the offense occurred. Explanations are to be made in the Officer forums and will be requested as determined by the Alliance Officers. Core Alliance Officers Alliance Leader – Alliance Co-Leader – Alliance Council – All GM’s of Guilds within the LEGEND alliance PVE Coordinator – RVR Coordinator – Core Guilds - DEMIGODZ and BLOODSWORN will be the initial core guilds, they are the founding members
- Additional guilds will be able to join the core ranks after a set amount of time (tbd) - Core guilds cannot be removed from the alliance without a valid reason to call for a vote and a 100% vote by the leaders of all other alliance guilds, removal vote must be constituted by a grave offense which puts the alliance itself in question - Core guilds have the right to ask for a re-vote on rules if they determine they are not in the best interest of the alliance - New core guilds will be added based upon their contribution to the alliance as a whole and the quality of its leadership
