Hill walking up the lakeland mountains

Rockclimbing on the crags

Shopping in the honeypots

Problems of travelling on ‘‘lakeland lanes

Even the main roads are narrow and winding

A66 near Keswick : Access Corridors were built to allow tourists to get easily into the main tourist area in the centre of the National Park.

Restricted Parking in quiet areas

Some lakes e.g. Wastwater were designated as ‘natural waters, where no water activities are allowed

Caravan and Campsites were placed next to the Access Corridors, so that traffic was minimized
