It was a hazy day. Contentment and fulfillment in materialism is adherence to simplicity. The tongue that has tasted the bittergaurd relishes the honey most. Thousands are manifested, all differ and yet all are the same.

Two realms existed inside my mind; one reigned by capitalism and the other by communism. Which one is ideal? To whom do I pay habitual obedience? Which one betters the society? The nomenclature given to the might rulers were “ Money” and “ RED” who had human agents too and there are two in my life now. One loved the dollars, the pizzas, the gizmos, and the spoils of the currency and the offspring of money. The other loved Revolution, Che, Cuba, Russia and the recent entry was Chavez. The irony is that I was in constant interaction with “ Money” and “ Red” and was dangling between the dollar and the red star. I do not wish to explain about the vices and virtues about them but rather venture into a philosophy that blends both. Red’s favorite was Gorky, a staunch communist and he had mastered the RED BIBLE, the Das Capital. Red loved “ MOTHER” by Gorky. I liked red for his prudence and his views on political philosophy. We often pondered and discussed about current economic trends and international events. He often backed Stalin by saying “ imperialism is the pre-requisite for socialism”. Our favorite was FDI in the key sectors.

“ Society shall disintegrate and culture is withering” said red pushing his spectacles closer to his eyes. He hardly utters a word but compensates by reading the equivalent amount. Always worried he often asked “ Does God Exist?” “ Even if he does exist nothing bothers me.” I said that he merely lack self-confidence. “ the end is pre determined. Lets play the game well.” “ Pre-determined?” “ Who Pre-determines? And why for us?” “ A design, A plot” “ Can energy have consciousness?” Some whose study include quantum mechanics have tried to construct theories in which hidden variables operate on a very fine scale in order to determine the precise moment when a given atom will radiate, or a nucleus decay. Considering the concept of wholons human life seems to be pre-determined, pre-determined by us who are a part of the universal being. Let us discuss this in future chapters.
