Explain the major concerns of European regarding issues such as acid rain in Germany, air pollution in the United Kingdom, and nuclear disaster in Chernobyl, Ukraine.
What environmental concerns do countries in Europe face? In Europe people face water levels
rising ,acid rain, and dying crops. Europe’s crops die from animals eating them. 3urope also faces global warming so the water levels will rise and flood the it and acid rain from all the chemicals in the air mixes with the rain and causes acid rain with hurts the animals and the environment .
How are specific countries addressing specific environmental concerns (like, acid rain in Germany and air pollution in the UK
Acid rain is the result of air pollution in the UK. Fuel is burned in the air and different chemicals mix and makes air pollution. This is a problem in Germany because the fish get the acid rain in them, people and animals eat the fish and get sick. In the UK air pollution is a problem because people breath in this and get sick from all the fumes and toxins .
How has the nuclear disaster that occurred in Chernobyl, Ukraine affected the region and other surrounding areas?
In 1986 their was a nuclear explosion .The nuclear explosion released at least 5% of radioactive reactor core into the atmosphere . 28 people died within 4 months from radiation burns. This was called The Chernobyl accident
