The Community

The Community Our Next Generation Inc. is located on 35th and Lisbon in Milwaukee, WI

• A sign hanging on a street in the Walnut Hill area of the community which depicts community betterment through the children.

• There are many fenced-in or gated play areas for community children.

• There are at least six child-care centers within a 3-block radius in the community.

• The number of churches within the area is around 5 or 6. Our Next Generation is even located inside a church.

• A business focused on rebuilding the community. The two students from the community that I interviewed agreed that the community has taken great strides towards overall community betterment.

• The only grocery store I saw in the area.

• One of the billboards in the community. The focus is clear, community service along with student success.

• The two high school students/ members of the community and ONG who were gracious enough to let me interview them.
