THE AFFECTIVE DIMENSION OF LEARNING
The readiness of a child or adolescent, at school, depends on the most basic of all knowledge, on how to learn. In a report of the national Center for clinical infant programs u.s., 1992, a list of seven key ingredients of this capability is cited crucial, all of them related to the emotional intelligence:
1. TRUST. The sense of control and dominate the body itself, the sensations experienced and understanding of the world; the sense of the child that is likely that will not fail in that It is proposed and adults will be kind. 2. CURIOSITY. the feeling of discovering things is very good and leads the pleasure. 3. INTENTIONALITY. the desire and ability to produce an impact, and Act with persistence. This is related to one feeling of competence, be effective.
4. SELF-CONTROL. The ability to modular and dominate the own shares of appropiate to the old ways; a sense of internal control. 5. RELATIONSHIP. The ability to engage with others, based on the sense of be understood and understand the others. 6. CAPACITY OF COMMUNICATION. The desire and ability to Exchange verbally ideas, feelings and concepts with others. This is associated with a sense of confidence in others and pleasure to commit themselves to others, even with adults. 7. COOPERATIVIDAD. The ability to balance the needs with those of others in a group activity.
Conclusion: I think students must develop the previous skills little y little and with their teacher's help and motivation so they can get as a result, a group of good classmates .
