The Accident

The accident It was a cold day when Irene decided to visit her uncle Susanne. She had invited her after seeing that it was a rainy day. The storm was really strong, and it did not seem to stop, so Irene took her father’s car. When she was going to the house, she had to stop in the middle of the street because of a big crowd of people. She did not understand what they were doiung there. It seemed to had been an accident because a man had crashed into a tree. The woman who was driving the car alone was the only victim. But she was not dead yet. She was trapped between the car and the tree and covered with blood, crying. The police said that she was cut in the middle and if they took her out, she would die. Nobody knew what to do with her, she was dying in front of their eyes. Irene did not want to see her face… Irene was so terrified when she saw that, that she went really fast to her uncle’s house. When she was there, she started to tell her uncle what she had sen and suddenly, she heard a woman’s screaming to herself. Sheturned so crazy that she thought it was the woman she had seen dying, so she took the car and went to the street in which the accident had occurred, but there was anyone and the accident had been just twenty minutes before she had started to ask herself what was happening to her and… a tree in front of her eyes… the car that could not stop because of the rain… a lot of blood… the police… the panic… a crowd… That afternoon, Susanne got crazy, and the police just said that she could not speak, that she had had a traumatic experience… Valentina Rata Zelaya
