Letter No-FTRLIV/INT/INSTR/O72736-39 Dated 21.08.07 regarding instruction on the poor performance of the intelligence machinery, especially the Area Organisers, Circle Organisers and ineptitude of the Commandants and other staff of this sector. Although, the field units-both Areas Organisers and Commandants, are being regularly directed to put in their sincere efforts to collect quality input and have better coordination to produce better operational results. However, following your instructions, the field units of this sector have again been apprised about the contents and the requirements of the higher hqr. All AOs and Commandants of this sector, have further been directed to pull up COs/ACs to produce tangible results. The field units have further been briefed to have extra vigil, keeping in view the fluid situation prevailing across the border over the Nepal’s CA Election. However, in future too, the best efforts will be made to gear up intelligence work and bring improvement in operational achievements. The performance/ progress of the respective field units after the D.I.G.’s Conference with COMMANDANTS, A.O.’S and C.O’S of this sector is enclosed as Annexure-“A” for information please. Regarding weekly Progress Report for the 10th week (w.e.f. 12.11.07. to 20.11.07) of Basic Training of Ministerial Staff (HC/MIN).Report as follow: (1)

Classes/periods were taken as per the Weekly Training Programme for the 10th week and with the available instructor’s staff of SHQ so detailed for the assigned task.

(2)

Officers from Sector took classes on the assigned topics for the 10th week.

(3)

The subject NDPS act also covered during this week which was left earlier due to non availability of subject material.

(4)

Very little time for sports activities of trainees as classroom ( at SHQ ) and boarding facilities ( at 5TH BN ) are at a distance of approx. 6-7 kms. which spares less time for such activity.

Trainees are showing keen interest in the all training activities.
